maybe you don't have a headache and you take an aspirin. 8 hours later you still feel fine what did you prove? you proved aspirin doesn't kill you within 8 hours in the specific circumstances of those 8 hours for you.
it's a math thing. proofs are hard. suppose i say, i will prove all numbers are odd. then i show you the number 5 and i say, 5 is odd. i tell you that proves all numbers are odd. do you accept that proof?
