I'm not an "end times" type guy....it'll happen when it happens, and I've always figured my own end times are much closer than some interrpertations of The Rapture. With that being said Iceland is now reporting volcanic activity not seen since something like the year 1,200.....the souteastern united states is forecast to be hit by a number of strong tornados , my own province of Ontario in Canada is forecasting a possible 'bomb cyclone' which is something I've never even heard of before...

So even for a guy who isn't looking for signs of the end times....its hard not to at least think about. All we need is a war and a famine now.

People make this a lot more complicated than they need to. The only thing people need to do is get off the grid. They need to live far enough from a city so that they are not on the grid for a city. So they have to provide their own electric, water and so on. They can set up a vacation or a weekend home.

I like people. I love living on the grid.

This is far from anything end times. It is a drop in the bucket when you compare the death, pain and suffering prophesied in the scriptures.

I used to be fixated on end times, and the Bible says that is part of Christian teaching, to consider them to be always near. But the main focus of the Bible is becoming a follower of Jesus. The Lord conveyed to me last summer that as Christians, "you can say that the Apocalypse is near, but it is very dangerous to say that it is here.". The Apocalypse is not the issue, being saved from it is. There are different ideas about what the Apocalypse is, and it refers to spiritual symbolism, and not just destructive events. Death is an Apocalypse. So is spiritual death. Jesus came to save us from both. I believe President Trump was elected according to God's will, and is trying to help make things better, not worse, because he is a good businessman, and strong leader, who can use the authority of America to help build peace, and disaster readiness is always good stewardship. And the Coronavirus is turning out to be a normal virus to remind people to be more careful of dangerous microbes which are not new. I believe the current health crisis is meant to be a warning - not a curse. Judgment day is always here, and every day is a good day to believe in Jesus and help make the world a better place like He did, and still does by helping us to carry on His ministry. "Do not be afraid," He said, "for I am with you always.". We do not need more war and famines. We can avoid them by obeying the Bible and living in peace.
