Everything is exactly as God planned.
God, in His infinite wisdom, knowing that Adam would eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, provided for mankind's redemption.

But God definitely did not want Adam to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:16-17 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Nice dodge. I notice you do not deal with the issue of the error in your misinterpretation of Scripture.

If he didn't, why tell him not to? And place Satan there to tempt him? And put Eve there, who he loved more than God, to get things rolling?

This is the lie of Calvinism.
How sinful are people? If you are completely sinful and God saves you, He gets the glory. If you choose to save yourself, you get at least half of the glory. And show how good you are by doing so. Which do you think is true?

People do not choose to save themselves. They choose to believe the Gospel, and when they do, God saves them.

Prove Paul wrong where he teaches imputation in Romans 5.
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

You are ignoring imputation = a few tacos short of a combination plate.

= not unless they choose first.......
I choose to be saved by Christ because that’s the only way unto salvation. God has made it simple so that salvation is available to everyone. Everybody has the ability to believe.

If you believe, you do not need to choose to believe.

To believe is to be fully persuaded that the shed blood of Jesus is the only way unto salvation. When a man believes the gospel, righteousness is imputed to that man, the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
