No I will not. Because James was addressing saved born again Jews. who were part of the body of Christ. Because they were saved AFTER Jesus death.

All Scripture references to the twelve tribes. Which ones reference Christians? If one only allowed the Bible to define itself, comparing Scripture to Scripture, one would never come to the conclusion that James 1 is a reference to the body of Christ. That’s not allowing the word to be honest.

Genesis 49:28
All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them.

Exodus 24:4
And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

Exodus 28:21
And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.

Exodus 39:14
And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.

Joshua 4:8
And the children of Israel did so as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones out of the midst of Jordan, as the Lord spake unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them unto the place where they lodged, and laid them down there.

1 Kings 18:31
And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the Lord came, saying, Israel shall be thy name:

Ezra 6:17
And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.

Ezekiel 47:13
Thus saith the Lord God; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.

Matthew 19:28
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Luke 22:30
That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Acts 26:7
Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.

James 1:1
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

Revelation 21:12
And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

Except the man in 1 Corinthians 3.

Are you saying your works justifies you? At what point, how many works do you have to perform to bring justification?
Here you go again bearing false witness

John give it up..

So, James is written to just jews and has no bearing non gentiles..

Why do you not say what you really think? Even though james was written POST resurrection. He is writing to those who are under law. even though the law was done away with.

lol.

How long have we went back and forth on this> Yet you STILL want to keep up with your line of thinking

Did you not read? The key words in the verses I posted were “they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness.” It is clear that they were saved by living righteous. They were not saved by the righteousness of God like Church Age Saints. God’s righteousness is through the faith of Christ.

James is addressed to the twelve tribes. No gentile in the twelve tribes. Are you a replacement theology believer?

These Jews are not under the law. There in the tribulation. They are commanded to endure with patience. Look to Job. He endured, never fell away from God, and his end was rewarded. Job’s 42 chapters aligns with the great tribulation of 42 months.

No license to sin. Paul addresses those like you and states God forbid.
Paul did not teach the new osas, so he was not open to any charge of making grace a license to sin, the very thing he himself said not to do.

If saying grace allows you to go back to your old life of sin and unbelief with impunity in regard to salvation is not a license to sin what is, then?

"ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness" - Jude 1:4

"ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh" - Galatians 5:13

"16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for [d]vice, but as bondservants of God." - 1 Peter 2:16

The new osas does exactly what Jude 1:4 says ungodly men do--turn the grace of God into a license for lasciviousness. It does in fact say grace is a license to live in lasciviousness allowing you to still be saved despite that lasciviousness. The old osas firmly rejected any suggestion of that definition of grace and said living in lasciviousness was not a privilege of being under grace but was a sign of the absence of God's grace.

Romans 3:8: “And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,)

Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.”
You are in fact saying that when you do evil, even to the point of unbelief, good still comes because grace makes it that way for the believer. And you misuse the verse that says 'where sin abounds...' to defend that teaching. As Paul says, the person who teaches that, their damnation is just.

This is your slander ... you slander grace in every post.

"Let us do evil (go back to the life of sin and unbelief), that good may come (you retain salvation)?"

....you know the rest.
Wrong.. and wrong........................Paul is quoting what others are saying....you are very dishonest.

You are the one being dishonest. You know full well this represents your new osas exactly:

"Let us do evil (go back to the life of sin and unbelief), that good may come (you retain salvation)?"

You explain how that isn't making grace a license to sin--in the most grievous of ways.

An ever increasing and abounding amount (2 Peter 1:8).

In your Jewish works salvation doctrine, how many works do you have to perform to bring justification?

The book of James is doctrinally written for the Jews in the tribulation. That could have occurred 2,000 years ago if the Jews would have received their Messiah. They did not. So the book of James should be viewed as prophecy for those living in the time of Jacob’s trouble. Why is that so hard to understand? Paul wrote to the body of Christ 2,000 years ago and is equally important for us today.

I answered already brother. Yes, dead faith which is faith alone in Jesus can save you. Paul says so. Allow Scripture to define “dead faith.”
