It most certainly matters who it is addressed to. God addressed Noah to build snark. Have you built an ark? Why not? You realize those specific instructions are not to you. All throughout Scripture you need to ask, who is God addressing, and to whom does this apply?
That's a logical fallacy. Instructions on how to behave aren't a reasonable parallel with a one-off command to an individual.

A one off command to Moses
"Go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people out of Egypt"

A set of instructions for the whole community of Israelites to follow.
The 10 commandments.

So was the Great Commission in Matthew 28 also a command directed to the 11 apostles only? Why do so many of us automatically assumed its also directed to us as well?

Read carefully....

This is the work that proves salvation...
.
Then they inquired, “What must we do to perform the works of God?”

Jesus replied, “The work of God is this: to believe IN the One He has sent.”

John 6:28-29
No argument with this. I have always stated in my posts no works can earn us salvation only faith in Christ Jesus. This is clearly scriptural. What I have statec in my posts is that belief in Christ has to be supported by works in demonstration of that faith or belief. I have also cited scriptures in support of this.

That's applying yet another faulty line of reasoning.

One of the examples supplied in James 2 is when Abraham "offered up Isaac".

Do you believe there was question in God's mind (about Abraham's being 'justified') in the MANY YEARS between the time the following was said of him: "Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness" [Romans 4:3] and the MUCH LATER point in time when he "offered up Isaac" (which, again, was MANY YEARS LATER) ?

Ditto my above paragraph. = )

Yes Abraham was justified (declared righteous) on the basis of faith. It is no different today. Saying that, Abraham’s faith was a living faith, one that demonstrated itself by works of faith and remarkably when offering up Isaac. Having living faith like Abraham qualifies us for being a true friend of God.

[P.S. Abraham was called the friend of God BY OTHER MEN, 2Chron20:7--"Abraham thy friend"]

I already stated that, just as Noah was tasked by God to build an ark, Jesus's disciples was tasked by Jesus a few specific instructions.

If you look at Matthew, they are to teach them to obey everything he commanded them in Matthew. If you look at Mark, there will be signs and wonders accompanying them. If you look at Luke, they are to begin in Jerusalem. If you look at John, they are given the power to forgive sins.

If you think any of these instructions are for us now, would you explain why?

Yes, that’s what we must recognize in Scripture. Where in Scripture is doctrine for the body of Christ? Most of Scripture is written to the nation of Israel. Paul’s thirteen letters are to the body of Christ. We don’t ignore the rest. We learn who God is through His interaction with Israel and understand
His purposes for them and for us.

Some were slandering grace by accusing Paul and others that they do evil that good may come? Paul is actually preaching against this thought.

7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
But you actually are teaching what some erroneously affirmed Paul was teaching.
That's the difference.

When you say you can purposely do all the evil you want in unbelief and you still retain God's grace in salvation that's making grace a license to sin.

"Let us do evil (go back to the life of sin and unbelief), that good may come (you retain salvation)?"

If that isn't making grace a license to sin, then what is making grace a license to sin?
You could at least answer that question.

First off, I never said this. Second, which of your sins to Jesus pay for at the cross? Some? Most? All?

This license to sin thought is a joke. I don’t know one believer who thinks this way. Yes, we all sin and fall short daily. We won’t overcome sin until the future redemption. Until then, most of us are just trying the best we can not mess things up too bad.

If you deny that Grace out bounds sin, then you deny the Gospel... because the Gospel IS we are "saved by Grace through faith..... (Ephesians)
The gospel does not teach that you can go back to unbelief and still be saved:

"By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you." - 1 Corinthians 15:2

As we can see, you are actually the one denying the gospel.

All except the decision to not believe in him.
The new osas insists that is covered too.
Nope. Nobody has said this. But what you are advocating is that one can believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, become a new creature, circumcised from the body of flesh, sealed to the day of redemption, then one day turn away from the Lord and He rips you right out of His body, takes His Spirit away from you, you become the old creature again, attached back to the body of flesh, and never again able to call upon the name of the Lord for salvation because He’s not able to save you a second time. You’ve got one shot at this. Don’t mess it up. Is that pretty much what you believe? And you get this from Hebrews, a book written to the Jews in the last days.

I'm too honest to ignore what the passage plainly says and invent my own meaning to defend a preferred doctrine.
Actually, you are too biased (not honest) to accept what the passage plainly says IN CONTEXT. (Hebrews 10:26-39) Honest people properly harmonize scripture with scripture before reaching their conclusion on doctrine. Dishonest people build their biased doctrine on pet verses taken OUT OF CONTEXT, then resort to name calling and slander when they are unable to refute the truth.

If the version you are reading is in error, dump it and move on. A faithful witness will not lie.
I don’t want to derail this thread but just ask you a simple question. I don’t read the KJV because old English is too difficult for me to take in. What are your thoughts on the NKJV?

Okay, so you are saying all these other passages (I listed--something like 12 verses and their contexts) are addressed to "the Church which is His body
Yes.

The Bible is written to man, saved or not.

If you’re not saved, it equips you to be saved.

Once you are saved, it equips you for perfection in all good works and provides comfort until the day of redemption.
