I have pretty much always been single. I like being single...I like to spend a lot of time alone.
Why? One reason is that I have much more freedom than I would if I was in a relationship. This is important to me. The day after Easter, I'm moving 600 miles away...which would be a whole lot more difficult/complicated/impossible if I was with someone...
However, with the ups, come the downs. To get ready for the move, I've had to do some serious housecleaning. I just spent the last hour scrubbing the bathroom...whoever invented grout crevices is an evil, evil man. If I was married, I could just pawn the grout cleaning off onto the wife, and do something else enjoyable. So, what I want to know is...What do you despise about being single?
NOTE: Please don't just say 'I hate being lonely'...put some effort and thought into it! Do you hate grocery shopping? Cleaning cobwebs? Shoveling the snow out of the driveway, Seoul? Scrubbing grout?
