116 days 18 hours is one earth day right now on Venus....can anyone prove by the text of Genesis that an evening and morning = one 24 hour period?

Once God stopped the rotation of the earth (Joshua)

Once God reversed the rotation of the earth (Isaiah)

Point being....NO one can prove one 24 hour period per creation day in Genesis by the text alone and an evening and a morning COULD HAVE BEEN 24 hours or 10 million (earth years now) and still be ONE EVENING AND ONE MORNING

Just saying.....to make a fair point!
I think making it 10 million years is pushing it. Yes, He did those things, But how many hours did it add to each day?

It was still an evening and a morning.. Imagine an earth rotating so slow. it took 10 million years to rotate just once to produce one evening and morning. It would be an uninhabitable earth. not able to sustain any life (to hot on one side, to cold on the other)

A question, how were those who were under the Law, before CHRiST had come, redeemed?
Faith, Just like Abraham, who was not under law when he had faith

Noah, Not under law. yet had faith

Another question, Eternally Grateful...why did GOD turn the whole world over to disobedience?
Romans 1 answers this question

He allowed the world to do what it wanted to do.

He is not a God who wanted robots. He wanted people to have a love relationship with. You can not do this with robots..

I did not make it 10 million, was using that as an example....and the earth had a canopy of water surrounding it before the flood...and God can sustain life any time, any place in any form regardless of circumstance.....--> Three Hebrew boys in a fire so hot it killed the men that were throwing them in the fire ;)

this is true

But if you look at it this way, You have to assume things which are not said. When the three boys were thrown in fire. we were told. they were throne in fire

We are not told each day lasted 10 millions years. and life was sustained even though the earth did not rotate in order to Give God time to create each individual thing.

I try not to assume historical events. I tend to take them literally.;)

He didn't. If man is without God we will be disobedient. We have a sinful nature and that is it. God cannot be blamed for our sin/disobedience.
HE did according to Romans 11...so as to be just when HE judges and to justify all whose faith is in HIS SON...

Redemption was always through sacrifice. The Israelites had to sacrifice the lamb and Jesus was our Lamb. The process is still the same. Blood had to flow for redemption.

We were always saved through faith (Hebrews 11).
Faith in JESUS CHRIST sir...the MESSIAH was promised from the beginning...and the PROMISE to Abraham and ´his seed¨, that he would be the father of many nations came first BEFORE the LAW had come....

All of GOD´S WORD was put forth until the FULLNESS would come...but, all of GOD´S WORD was simply to point us to CHRIST....
And all the prophets who spoke were in service to us...they could not be made perfect without us...and the FULLNESS which would come to us...GODŚ GRACE and MERCY, fully and clearly seen in THE SON, whom HE sent for the sins of the WORLD.

Everyone who is coming to THE WEDDING, is wearing the same WHITE GARMENT

yes

But they were all still saved by Faith.

God and his way was not unknown to them (again see romans 1) so there was no excuse. when they died. They lost all hope of being redeemed. They died in sin.

From Adam, sir...Adam who had direct relationship with GOD, but not the OT saints? Please explain where the OT saints were (who had died prior to CHRIST´s coming and crucifixion), if GOD can not stand in the presence of sin, (and HIS WORD says all have sinned)

More importantly, Adam was a pattern of CHRIST...but of the flesh...he sinned....was he included as an OT saint, then? And did not know though the way was blocked, that he had no way to get back home unless GOD provided a way?

How many ways were there, then.

Romans 1 speaks directly to those from the time of creation. and what God did and how they reacted.

You can not look at any OT people apart from looking at romans 1.

And not sure what you mean about revelation.

THE WHITE garment is symbolic of CHRIST washing us by HIS BLOOD...yet, those who spoke and prophecied who did not fully understand what they prophecied, were saved at their death...even before CHRIST came into the world and died for our sins?

So there must be another place separate from Heaven and Hell?

Or did they go straight to Heaven, even though CHRIST had not come into the world yet and done for us what we could not do for ourselves.

That is, open the WAY to HEAVEN through HIS BODY...

Adam was lost just like the other men. Trying to make fallen adam different than any other fallen man or woman I can not understand

He sinned, When he sin, a death penalty was imposed on him Just like all of us and every man and woman who has ever sinned.

God promised he would provide a way, (start at Gen 3: 15) and this knowledge was passed down to all.

Romans 1 said many knew of this, but did not want to believe it because they loved their sin. Because of this, they have no excuse.

Yet they were still saved

The people who BELIEVED GOD (even though they did not know the exact way in which God would save them) were saved by faith

The ones in prison rejected this idea. and thus sealed their own fate by unbelief

Then all the OT people, who were not saints, were lost?

Yet CHRIST is ETERNAL and HIS SACRIFICE stretches backwards, to present, to forwards?

Yet these who were unfortunately not present to repent, having not heard THE GOSPEL, having not benefitted by HIS COMING, are lost

Is this what you are saying?[/QUOTE]

So Adam and every other man who died prior to Christś coming, along with the men present and the future who do not believe the GOSPEL are waiting for the resurrection...but the OT saints will be caught up with everyone else who has believed.

Adam, who is the first man, who through his disobedience, though GOD already knew that Adam would sin, has to wait until the day of Judgment...
