My idea is this.Christ Jesus have Made us to become Children of God though our Faith.Im a parent and do have Children.They cannot cease to be My Children.Thats my thoughts..

I think the problem sometimes is that we would rather ask - how close to sin can I get before it is actually "SINNING"....
Rather then wondering "How close to God can I get?" - "how well can I get to know God?" - "How much can I give to God's kingdom". I think living this way we will never have to worry about it

I just imagine a TV preacher commanding people's faith, "Be loosed!" But I'd imagine you meant lose.
You would be better to backslide and still have faith rather than lose your faith. Why do you ask? The example you gave isn’t relative exactly. I think if someone adopted a child and then the child ran away and was never heard from again, they shouldn’t expect an inheritance.
I believe that the moment you believed that you are a sinner and needs/depend on Jesus Christ to save you from the bondage of sin. If y do this, you are definately saved by faith. However, as to who really can go up heaven, is not for me or anyone to say bu Jesus Christ himself.
From my own understanding, the only time your name can be stricken from the book of life is if you blaspheme against the Spirit ( In a nutshell, the unpardonable sin is any sin that a person doesn’t want to give up, confess, or even ask forgiveness for and additionally doesn’t want to hear any more about it from the Holy Spirit.)
It is possible to lose faith in God, sometimes things happen and we start asking "Why God?" This is actually one of Satan's favourite weapons because it's the sin of self pity, where we start to focus on ourselves rather than the Lord. Self Pity is a feeder sin because we start to question God, become angry with God and a host of other things start to manifest within our Spirit. Scary huh?
The only thing that I have to offer you is to pray and ask God to forgive you and help you find your Faith. I just mentioned the above because I have really been struggling with my faith recently and my own research led me to that conclusion, it helped me out so I hope it helps you too!

Hey Wayne. I have a question for you. Did Jesus die to pay for all your sins? You know the answer is yes. How is sin taken care of according to scripture? Through the shedding of blood. Hence, we have forgiveness through the shedding of the blood of the Lamb, Jesus. We have forgiveness. It is not something we seek from God, we are justified before God based upon the work of Christ. Total forgiveness.
What you described as the unpardonable sin, would mean that Christ would have to go again to the cross to pay for the sins of humanity, since the foundation of the world suffering again and again. Since He is the sacrifice for sin. But, He died once, for all sin. He has an eternal priesthood, and is our High Priest able to save us completely. Read through the book of Hebrews to get a clear picture of the work of Christ and our total forgiveness.
There are many verses that speak to our position before God, being immutable or unchanging based in the work of Christ and being sealed by the Holy Spirit (as the Seal of Redemption). Even to the wayward son, God will finish the good work He has started. If salvation was something we had to maintain by our deeds or conduct, is it really saved by grace through faith? Is it really through Christ we are saved? Or do we get to boast before God and act as if God is indebted to us, by our works owing us salvation? No, salvation is a gift from God.

Matthew 12:30-32 New International Version (NIV)
30 “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. 31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit would be rejection of the Gospel, because the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgement. In the verse you quoted Jesus said, “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” If you aren’t with Christ, you’re condemned. If you reject the conviction of the Spirit, of sin, righteousness, and judgement, how can you be forgiven for you then have denied the Gospel.
Consider verse 33.
Matthew 12:33
King James Version
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
Jesus is the Messiah, and they were rejecting Him; even saying His works were not from the Spirit of God but from the devil. They were calling a good tree corrupt.
Remember Jesus was speaking to Pharisees, people who did not believe in Jesus but were stuck in self righteousness. They sought a righteousness of their own, and not the one that is by faith (imputed).
To be rather blunt, there is no sin that can condemn a Christian because such a sin would supersede the blood of Christ that has granted us the remission of our sins. Scripture is plain on this point, if all sin hasn’t been paid for then Christ would have to die again and again since the foundation of the world because He is the sacrifice for sin (Hebrews 9:26). He has an eternal priesthood and His blood (that is the only means of remission) is how we are forgiven of sin. How else do the unrighteous receive forgiveness today? His blood sacrifice that still applies today, through His eternal priesthood (order of Melchizedek).
The topic itself of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit not being forgiven was directed at Pharisees, an important point. We are believers in Christ, having received the remission of our sins through His blood. We didn’t reject Christ, we received the conviction of God’s Spirit and believed. We saw the tree was good. I suppose this can be summed up in Christ’s question to others of who He is: Who do you say that I am?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, this part in particular really sticks out because it’s plain straightforward text, yet we know as Christ believers that Jesus died for our sins.

So if every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven but rejecting the Gospel will not......
wait, I just got a revelation from the Holy Spirit as I was typing this.....
This scripture here - “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” This has just spoken and clarified my understanding of what I was asking. That yes, all our sins Jesus died on the cross for but defeated death when he rose 3 days later, but Jesus also says we cannot serve two masters, we cannot serve the world and his Father.... so rejecting the Gospel as you said is rejecting Him who Lives!!
