It's the same question for Christian men. Your comment reveals your sexism.
Since the title of the thread is *Women Equality* let stick to the subject instead of going off on a tangent.

Christian women must base their beliefs on what is revealed in the Bible.

Not what Betty Frieden had to say.

That completely changes your parameters. The Church (the Body of Christ) is at odds with modern society. Indeed there is enmity between the two.
Scripture speaks to any generation. Modern simply changes the time period. So again through a Biblical worldview how would a modern society need to change within the topic of women's equality.

Is it good, need change, completely bad, or something else. Explain how, why, and what would you do to change it if need be.

I support full equality for women but spit in the face of radical feminism which is nothing more than hate-filled tyranny.

You know that this is a loaded question. Every response is relevant ...

Based on the parable you quoted, the whole lesson was based on, don’t worry what somebody else is getting. If the female agrees to work for $1 less an hour than her male co worker, or the other way around, you are getting what was offered and accepted. To run to the government and complain of inequality is unbiblical. It’s the owners money and he has the right to spend it as he wants.
And if he want's to be a successful business man, he will invest in the person most qualified...

So far it seems from the women who have responded based on their posts they are mostly happy with women's statuses in their country. I was curious to see would a Biblical worldview affect a females perspective on the feminism movements of today. So far it looks as if most female equality was reasonable in the 1960s movement but from there branched off radical movements that basically saw man in themselves as the oppressors.

I'm pro-woman, therefore I am anti-feminist.

I'm reminded of the show Parks and Rec when I hear of feminism. The star character, a self proclaimed feminist, is quick to put down women that don't fall into her view of what women "should" be. And was known for showing favoritism towards women with lines like "I'm leaving you in charge, because you're a woman". Even to the point of becoming a hypocrite and putting down boys, while elevating girls. All while spouting about "equality". And desperately trying to fit in with the men.
Anytime I see a woman actually promoting feminism this is always what I see. Then there are those who use the title, but don't hold to the modern stance of it. Rather clinging on to this outdated notion of what they believed feminism really was. Without realizing what feminism was is what lead to what it IS. Female domination. Women criticizing men, by acting like men... 🙄

Ironically , Women lead the sexual revolution! Lol... seriously, I don't know how you all do this constant typing thing. Having a conversation with someone in person was so much more intimate. And I'm not talking about since this pandemic. And I get It. I've got a teenage daughter. With her texting with her friends. When they do have to get on the phone ( I need to speak to there parent's for a sleepover or something.) they never know what to say to one another. This, People not interacting in person or on the cell. You can know how they are feeling by the tone of their voice. Or their attitude. I truly miss those day's and to think that this is gone forever. Well...Kinda S.....

It is as with many movements people follow without truly knowing what they are following. I remember Black Lives Matter movement was started over a police shooting that was actually justified but people rioted anyways. Then the hate grew, more riots and eventually the police shootings in Dallas. A large number of its followers was average people but mixed within was radical people. People should support equality or black lives but certain groups use such terms to cover their radical agendas.

Some of us like writing/typing. Some of us have a lot to share, encourage or hungry to learn. Some are introverts and find this easier than talking in person. Some enjoy helping those who reach out not knowing that one post could stop a suicide or give someone hope. Some find friendships, spouses, or simply companionship when feeling alone. Some love to debate. Some feel called or see the internet as just another evangelism tool as most young people go to the internet to find such answers to questions. Some are here to learn, to grow, to teach, or all 3 hopefully.

So according to why the individual is here, typing may come quite easily.

As for the sexual revolution. I believe it was a group effort by men and women during the 1960s and 70s. The freedom to love or hippie movements consisted of both genders.

By no means did I mean to be disrespectful. I love it here. (Not because of the virus.)I found all the things that you were talking about. I hope something that I have said someone wanted to hear. And as far as people calling in here for help with something, I can offer them hope and inspiration, But I know that I'm only qualified to give them spiritual help.

For the Christian women do you want 100% equality within your country to that of man? Do you want a slight increase in equality? Or are you happy where you are?

How does your Biblical worldview see the feminist movements of today? Reasonable or radical?
Biblical worldview.... what is that?
The world does what it has always done fumble around in the dark.

I really do not understood your question?

A worldview is how one perceives the world. A Biblical worldview is how one perceives the world using the Bible as the foundation. Feminist movements range from liberal to radical. Do you feel that women related to equality in your country's societal setting needs liberal change, radical change, or none.
For the Christian women does your faith affect your choice?

Then just explain why.

Do you believe critical theory has a play in the modern feminist movements?

What would womens equality within government look like in a Biblical worldview?
I don’t believe critical theory has as much a play in feminism as propaganda does. Critical theory from my understanding has more to do with liberating the oppressed, and bending social construct to make necessary change for functionality. Since I’m not a woman, much less a woman in the 1960s, my perception of their oppression is incomplete. Clearly there was a double standard and their voice was mute. Change was needed in order to increase perceived value, absolutely! However, I feel the champions of feminism just threw gas on a fire. Instead of creating a symbiotic environment where men and women could exist in harmony, they created a competition for supremacy. Competition is a fantastic way to cause dormant skills to surface. The cost for most people of becoming excellent at something is being inadequate at other things. What the women gained in workforce presence they lost on the homefront. Since men are biologically and psychologically more engineered for protecting and providing and women for tending and nurturing, there is imbalance, in the home and the individual. When my daughter told me she wanted to be a firefighter I asked her a question. If our house was on fire and someone had to bust down the door and carry her family out safely, would she prefer a six foot, 220 lb, muscular man show up, or a 5’-4”, 140 lb woman? I didn’t tell her not to but there’s a good chance she would have got the position because of her marks, and gender, not her ability to do the job better.

Your final question isn’t even biblical. Equality isn’t even a consideration. It’s like the family is a unit, and the Church is a unit. We all have our roles, and play our parts. Seeking power that is not given to us, whether male or female is unbiblical.

There aren't enough options. What about 'less equality' or 'no equality.' How about 'long live the patriarcy.'

Honestly, I'd rather see wives submission to husbands being reflected in law, in buying land, opening bank accounts, and stuff like that. Combined with some stronger marriage law, it might stabilize society, but there would have to be some kind of major sociological and philosophical shifts, probably, for that to work, or a totalitarian regieme taking over with that as part of it's overall legal framework.

What do you mean by less equality? A totalitarian regime? What are you talking about? You think a woman shouldn't be allowed to open a bank account? May have to explain what you mean here.

What do you disagree with? Please enlighten me.
There is a gender pay gap, if you are talking equal pay for equal work. But in most cases, it is men who are underpaid.

Feminism is a big lie. It's not about equality, or women, its about men and women who push the goals of Communism/Fascism/the NWO. If it wasn't, stay at home mums and mothers wouldn't have been left behind.

Hold the phone, hell just froze over, Mr. M and I agree!!! o_O Feminism had an agenda from the beginning, the same as the gay agenda, to tear down the family dynamic. Today feminism has become so radical and hate filled I don't know how any Christian woman could call themselves a feminist. Just look at the Womans March. A female family member of mine said had she lived in the US she would have walked with them. And she claims to be a Christian. Needless to say we had a come to Jesus moment and we no longer speak. A pity.

.

In governing a nation are you saying that equality isnt even a consideration. Different roles doesn't mean equality is just absent in all areas of societal structure.
