Hi, I’m still trying to figure this out... I’ve only just found this sight. I find it fascinating that there are people from all over the world on here. I myself am from Perth, Western Australia

I visited Perth some years ago and found it to be one of the most beautiful cities anywhere, especially Kings Park. The sweeping view of the Swan River and the city skyline from Kings Park were unforgettable. I remember riding a bicycle built for two with our son while in the park. Great fun!
Coming down from Broome on the way to Perth we spent the night at New Norcia, a monastery about 125 km to the north of Perth. There were 5 Spanish monks who lived there with only one speaking English. We slept in a very small bed chamber on the hardest of beds. I don't think I'll ever become a monk! The food at the monestary was, well, less than "basic." No, I'll take Perth anytime over New Norcia! lol. The Margaret River area to the south is also beautiful. WA was for us a very memorable state. Thats awesome, perth is great, we’re doing pretty good with the covid pandemic. I’m about half and hour south of Perth so in the direction a Margaret river but nowhere near as far.
Where abouts are you now? Hope your keeping safe!
The monastery sounds interesting, wow, I’ve never done anything like that, very cool.
