Every one arrives early for our church services. We stop by the coffee pot, get a cup of our favorite brew, then it's hug time. From the toddlers, through every youth and teenager, every young adult through the last senior adult to arrive, there's enough hugs to brighten any poor souls day and week to come.
I sure do miss my hugs. Lord please destroy this virus so we can again meet and share our love for each other with a great big hug.
I often go in and out of melancholy stages to where I have a hard time connecting emotionally but instead fall into a blah like state. For me my brain always get over stimulated in social gatherings. It physically drains me. Even my wife will often think something is wrong because I distance myself. So my social gathering is often straight to the point.
Basically I dont really miss the hugs or small talk. But I do miss the deep group communications within my community group.
