HAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHHHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAH

Folks.....the quote in this post is a fine example of religion for you......!!!!
The battle over the promised seed is the history of the entire human race in the OT. Instead of laughing, You should study this. It gives the answer for all the blood shed and wars in the OT.

Oh I have studied it, and your view falls way short of biblical and or spiritual discernment!

David ->>RESTORE unto me the JOY OF MY SALVATION....yet this JOKER says no one was saved.....pure poppycock!
HaHaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! I can laugh too. You’re equating safe in Abraham’s bosom to salvation....now that’s funny.

David was alive when he prayed that genius.....and the words MY SALVATION are clear enough unless you are a religionist blinded by false teaching.....

You should study it again because you’ve missed a lot of important truths. Just saying...the attack on the seed line is import to understand with perspective of the cross.

so now David was absent from the body and present with the Lord...David’s sin was eternally washed away before the blood was even shed....wow!

No one put Jesus on the cross....He went willingly and by the Father's will. And it was MEN that did it.....

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, Oh my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.0

No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

Jesus answered, “You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.”

Yes, the battle between good and evil, light and darkness ensued between God and Satan.....MEN are the pawns and Yet the above makes it crystal clear that MEN put Jesus on the cross and they had no power over Christ....HE WENT WILLINGLY!

I still want to see a verse that says....SATAN PUT JESUS ON THE CROSS!!!

David was saved Genius...take it up with God....and by your own logic, you are not saved because you are not present with God and still in your dead body of sin....dwell on that religionist!

When I die I will be present with the Lord. Why? My sins have been dealt with at the cross. David did not enjoy in his lifetime what we have in Christ today.

So God didn't forgive David (and many others) of their sin BEFORE Jesus was even born and died on the cross??

We go to the grave when we die. We aren't present with the Lord until He comes and raises us up and gives us our glorified bodies.

That's MY understanding anyway. :)

You are conflating.

In his lifetime, David did enjoy the presence of the Lord.
Everything he wrote testifies to this.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. :)

If his sins were washed away, he would have enjoyed the presence of the Lord in heaven upon death.
