this isn't a big deal, and I'm really just trying to figure out what's going on in Trump's mind.

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/05/21/politics/fact-check-trump-michigan-man-of-the-year-again/

I know that CNN is a liberal outlet, but this story is not hard to find on the internet.

if you're into the video thing, here's a link that should take you to timestamp 4:50 (and yes, it's from a liberal)

is Trump confused?

or maybe will some local Kiwanis club be found that gave him a man of the year award years ago?

Don't know. Don't care. He's way better of a president than that last sellout we had. He could run around the White House naked, covered in jello yelling "I'm a pony, I'm a pony!", for all I care. Long as he runs the country well.

Interesting.

I doubt there is any way to verify yay or nay.... it could have been come local Masonic Lodge that sent him a letter and inviting him for
dinner.

It would be impossible to find that notification unless a member stepped up and affirmed it.

I think more of an exaggeration... but what do I know. :D

correction: I said timestamp 4:50, I meant 4:10. That's where the link points.

also, "Kiwanis Club" was just the name that popped into my head, no disrespect intended. I hear they do lots of good service projects.

Those service clubs do this quite often on a yearly basis, they choose someone to honor and they send out letters, and no disrespect either but often in search of a donation.

I miss having a president who doesn't speak like he has a 3rd grade literacy level

On the flip side most people today would not be able to grasp or understand a speech by John F. K.
Art imitates life... maybe politicians reflect the people.

Trump is contrary to every Christian value ever held of any value. He's a liar, a hypocrite,
ignorant to the bone and any Christian who would vote for him is a hypocrite also.
I believe Billy Graham would be turning in the grave knowing he got elected.

Trump likes to poke at MSM ... just to watch them run around fact checking him ... he gets a kick out of it.

He likes to throw temper tantrums when he's asked a question he doesn't want to answer
Attacking media is a dictator tactic

of all the presidents I've heard, I like JFK's style of presentation the best

and Ronald Reagan is a close second.

Abraham Lincoln in the Lincoln-Douglas debates actually takes significant mental aptitude to follow, imo.

Yes, it looks like Trump thought he was given an award ''Man of the Year'' in Michigan and he said he didn't know by who or why .... From what I saw he was presented something at an automotive CEO dinner and he mis-understood .. He did go and deregulate a lot of dumb regulations and revived Michigan's auto industry and the deregulations saved about 6000 dollars per auto .. But it is funny, the good thing is he don't seem to care or feel a need to dwell on it so ''let'm eat'' they've been starving , there's plenty to do that and they're tickled about it .. Nothingburger , Yawn ..

JFK Jr was one of the ones who said DJT would make a very good president .. Jfk Jr owned ''George'' magazine and was preparing to enter politics .. He had said he was about to reveal a lot of info on his fathers murder but he had an ''untimely , cough'' fatal airplane accident .. He and DJ Trump seemed to be very good friends for a long time .. And I think the NY Senate seat he planned on running for was the same one Hillary won that next election ..
1963 I remember getting out of school and seeing girls and teachers crying everywhere and I had no clue until My friend and I opened the door to get in his dads car to ride home and his dad said ''President Kennedy has been shot and killed'' .. I was very young 3rd/4th grade and something suddenly seemed missing from the world, heavy duty and new strange feeling for a young kid .. And I remember watching Cronkite

Yeah ... I was grade 2 and I heard about it at school. I remember running home and I was afraid but I didn't know what I was afraid of ... just a fear and a sinking feeling in my heart. Too much for a 7 yr old to have to comprehend.

I am sad that kids saw video of airplanes flying into buildings ...

People who do not understand the spiritual realm were shaken to the core. And I remember that for a brief time, that attack brought the USA together. Sadly, our nation is more fractured today than it has ever been.
