(Gal 2:7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter)

Peter preached the same gospel otherwise Paul would have condemned Peter for preaching another gospel.

(Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.)

You and longjohn have Peter preaching another gospel and are falling into the accursed category.
I am not asking you to read your pre-existing doctrine into that verse.

You just need to read it literally and tell me "How many gospels are contained in that verse"?

I'm not reading any pre-existing anything - I've understood it to mean one gospel for years, long long, long before I came across this bogus doctrine and this mid-Acts "theology".

So back to verse 7 of Galatians 2. Read and tell me how many gospels can you see from there, when you read that verse literally?
Wrong verse .. you still have one Gospel.
This is the point if you care to understand what Paul is writing.

I will put it in modern day terms to help you understand..

I have one Gospel however when I am talking to a Buddhist I am going to deliver the message according to what he knows.

When I am speaking to a Jew I am going to deliver the same message but I will base on what they already know.

A gentile is going need a different approach than a Jew .. that is what that verse is stating.. two different groups one message.

Okay if you won't read it literally, that is a free choice you can make too.

One, if you look at the Greek text the gospel is only mentioned once, it should read:

But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the circumcision was unto Peter.

Textus Receptus:

ἀλλὰ τοὐναντίον ἰδόντες ὅτι πεπίστευμαι τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τῆς ἀκροβυστίας καθὼς Πέτρος τῆς περιτομῆς

euángelos, “bringing good news" appears only once in the text. The KJV translators did a good job of confusing it's unwary readers.

I'll guarantee that the KJV translators never understood it as two different gospels. That is a product of later dispensationalism.

The word "gospel" means good news. You didn't realize that?

Are you stating the Jew should still receive a different Gospel even today?

Of course not. There is only one gospel that saves today, I totally agree with you, and its found in 1 Cor 15:1-4

But unlike you, I don't anticipate revelation when I read Scripture. Acts was a transitional period when the gospel of the kingdom, which is of the circumcision, is being phased out, and a new gospel, the gospel of grace, which is of the uncircumcision, is coming in.

Galatians was written during that transitional period.

One. that's why I posted the Greek text

This is from the commentary of Thomas Aquinas on Galatians 2:7 born in 1225 AD well before the KJV bible was a twinkle in King Jim's eye:

He says therefore: I say that those who seemed to be something, added nothing; but rather, contrary to the opinion of the adversaries who came up to Jerusalem to oppose me in this matter, it was I that the Apostles approved, and this when they had seen that to me was committed the gospel, i.e., the office of the preaching, of the uncircumcision, i.e., the injunction to preach to the uncircumcised, namely, the Gentiles: “For all the nations are uncircumcised in the flesh, but all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart” (Jer 9:26). just as to Peter was entrusted the authority to preach to the Jews alone, so to Paul to the Gentiles; but later, Peter, too, preached to the Gentiles and Paul to the Jews.

You really cannot help it but to insert your pre-existing beliefs when you read that verse.

Here's Martin Luther on Galatians:

What does Paul mean by saying that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto him, and that of the circumcision to Peter? Did not Paul preach to the Jews, while Peter preached to the Gentiles also? Peter converted the Centurion. Paul’s custom was to enter into the synagogues of the Jews, there to preach the Gospel. Why then should he call himself the apostle of the Gentiles, while he calls Peter the apostle of the circumcision?

Paul refers to the fact that the other apostles remained in Jerusalem until the destruction of the city became imminent. But Paul was especially called the apostle of the Gentiles. Even before the destruction of Jerusalem Jews dwelt here and there in the cities of the Gentiles. Coming to a city, Paul customarily entered the synagogues of the Jews and first brought to them as the children of the kingdom, the glad tidings that the promises made unto the fathers were fulfilled in Jesus Christ. When the Jews refused to hear these glad tidings, Paul turned to the Gentiles. He was the apostle of the Gentiles in a special sense, as Peter was the apostle of the Jews.

Paul reiterates that Peter, James, and John, the accepted pillars of the Church, taught him nothing, nor did they commit unto him the office of preaching the Gospel unto the Gentiles. Both the knowledge of the Gospel and the commandment to preach it to the Gentiles, Paul received directly from God. His case was parallel to that of Peter’s, who was particularly commissioned to preach the Gospel to the Jews.

The apostles had the same charge, the identical Gospel. Peter did not proclaim a different Gospel, nor had he appointed his fellow apostles. They were equals. They were all taught of God.

Looky here, we have Peter preaching the same gospel as Paul about the DBR to a Gentile:

(Acts 10:28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.)
.
.
(Acts 10:37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached)

(Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him)

(Acts 10:39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree)

(Acts 10:40 Him God raised up the third day, and showed him openly)

(Acts 10:41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead)

(Acts 10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead)

(Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.)

When Peter told the Jews that Jesus died because they killed him, therefore they are to repent of that act, you regard that as the same as preaching Jesus died for your sins?
