Billy's household is putting the past few months behind us and returning to normal.

Sunday we decided to return regular Sunday morning worship services June 14. Things still won't be normal, but it's the first step in restarting our community ministry programs.

Last Friday was our last day of ordering curb service for dining out. Yesterday, we celebrated our anniversary at Outback Steak House. We had to wait in the car until they prepared a table (they had to disinfect the table and chairs no more than five minutes before we were seated), and used disposable menus. We had a great night. Next time we were promised that prime rib would return to the menu.

Friday (baring no tropical storm) we plan to make a shopping trip to PC. We'll wear our masks, otherwise it'll be much like it was in January.

Mama went to the rheumatologist yesterday. He told her that her hydroxolcoroquin was not changing and not to do what a couple of his patients had tried. Seems they were taking 6 pills a day, and ended up in the hospital with heart problems. He told her to get on with her life.

Yes, we are getting on with our life. There is a beautiful world out there and we are going to enjoy it.

Happy anniversary memories, Billy!

We started GCQ on Monday. But we still limit our trips out for essentials now. Our worship gatherings are to return soon too, but they're allowing 10 persons I heard. I should listen more for updates so I don't report false news=).

We are still working on the capacity issue. Our normal services fill about half to two thirds of the sanctuary, It's summertime and many of our families usually travel for all or part of the summer. With the travel restrictions on, we anticipate a larger attendance. We are suppose to limit our sanctuary attendance to 50%. We may have a separate youth service in our fellowship hall. It's getting to hot for outdoor services.

Just remember, where two or more are gathered in God's name, he is there also. In this messed up world, we are blessed with so many places that provide sanctuary to worship God. Whether it is a dining room table or a mega church, the ability to gather together in the midst of God's presence is a blessing from God.

Some of the best "Bible studies" I've had the past few years have been driving around with my kiddos.
No toys, no tv, no distractions! Then later at home it's "tell us about that again!" as they bring their Bibles over asking "where's it say what you were telling us" :)

Great way to teach children. They are like sponges. They soak up everything around them. Keep them encircled with the word of God.

My daughter finished her freshman year in the honer role!!!!

Too many drugs are bad for us, i try not to take too many vitamins, or eat to healthy. Too much good can sometimes cause something bad within us. Its good to have balance in anyway we can.
