Pagans here? what might be a clue to who they are like what do they say what kind of things are they teaching?
I grew up with pagans, and always come across pagans/witches/etc. on forums (& in life) I used to be goth and had some v. weird musical interests, so maybe that’s why I attract these people. (Repented but maybe need deliverance?)
A witch joined my first church and we clicked. She was strange, and The majority seemed to give her a wide berth, I felt pity, she seemed lost, angry, lonely 😔
And Having a coffee, out of the blue, some sweet old guy starts talking to me about The Bible (turned out he was pagan) so yes, these ‘Christian’ forums seem to attract pagans.
What do they teach? They’re very secretive, and don’t proselytise. They mimic ‘real’ Christianity, so you wouldn’t know tbh. Its funny, but most of the people on here I’ve blocked, so didn’t see any replies (not you blain, or neihemiah6) 😁

On animism.
Since childhood, I’ve always loved animals, they’re trustworthy, kind, loving. Nicer than humans. I want to touch/stroke animals. Saw some lionesses recently, and they are so majestic. I love seeing lambs scampering in fields, and horses, cows etc. wonder where this love comes from. I’m starting to realise that my love for them might be unnatural, idolatry even.
Animism: the attribution of a soul to plants, inanimate objects, and natural phenomena.

Animism (from Latin anima, "breath, spirit, life") is the belief that objects, places and creatures all possess a distinct spiritual essence. Potentially, animism perceives all things—animals, plants, rocks, rivers, weather systems, human handiwork and perhaps even words—as animated and alive. Animism is used in the anthropology of religion as a term for the belief system of many indigenous peoples, especially in contrast to the relatively more recent development of organized religions. source :)

I just wanted o clarify for you what animism is, as it seemed you used the word improperly ;) Loving animals, caring for them, is not animism but being a good steward, which we are supposed to be :)

You are welcome. Ugh treating that type of wild animal like a big ball of cuddly lovable fur is dangerous. Have you seen Tiger King? Those people really are nutters :censored: To borrow your phrase :giggle:

Whenever I’ve looked for pagans, I’ve found that they’re very elusive...unless you go to a mooting of course...There’s a little island where we sometimes go on holiday, and apparently paganism is very much ‘frowned upon’ there, so they keep it quiet-but everywhere else, it’s so popular, so why the secrecy? (secretive things/people bother me you see) 😐

My sisters side of the family has a white witch and my sister victoria claims to be a witch as well so trust me I am in the same boat these types are not nonexistent and especially so if they are in your family and cannot just escape from them especially since my sister victoria is here almost every day.

personally I am not sure if magic is an actual thing or not as I recall in the bible in the old testament King saul sought after a medium to bring the prophet Samuel as a ghost to ask for help because God abandoned him and there are actually a surprising amount of scriptures that speak of mediums necromancers sorceresses and such all of them God is very brutely open to how he feels about them so I think it might be a possibility that such things are real but a mockery of the holy spirits power.

Hi blain, I agree that The Lord hates all that stuff, maybe that’s because it’s not real, but a distraction from Him (Deuteronomy 18-He is a Jealous G_d).
Anyway v. interesting about your sister 🤔 🙏...IMO most teens have an ‘unhealthy’ interest in the ‘dark side’. We’ve all made mistakes and sinned-even if done in ignorance/innocence-BUT, prayer of deliverance/repentance avails much.

I read a comm. about Saul, which said, because of Luke 16, (ie, the gulf that nobody can pass over), that the samuel visitation was not samuel but a ‘familiar spirit’...as Saul was ‘tormented’ after, i s’pose that could be the case. ??

I was always a bit afraid of all that stuff, But probably didn’t take the spirit realm seriously, until reading Jesus’ words ‘I am not a spirit-look at my hands/feet’ (p.s. what about Him eating in their presence, wow!)
So, if He talked about spirits, they must exist. Or do they? 😐

I sometimes get so angry with it all & have a rant, but I shouldn’t- everyone is on a journey of discovery. We can’t stop people making their own mistakes/sins.
The Lord bless you & keep you blain 😁

All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The LORD G_D made them all.

Each little flower that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
HE made their glowing colours,
HE made their tiny wings.

The purpleheaded mountain,
The river running by,
The sunset and the morning,
That brightens up the sky.

The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
HE made them every one.

Well I think it is reasonable that some of the pagans be drawn to Christianity, for some of them indeed will be saved and abandon the worthless demons and idols of their ancestors. After all their gods are all lies, the demonic spirit/breath of the wicked dragon Satan. The counterfeit is never as satisfying as the True. Abandon the worthless fake gods and come draw near the True God and receive real power, praise Jesus.

Amen!! If Jesus can save me from worthless idols, He can save anyone!...Was I willing to be saved? ‘To Whom could I go, HE had the words of eternal life’

The first time I watched g.o.t. I was shocked. I’m no prude, and have watched/watch (and done) much worse. There was something really dark about it, and I only made it through a few episodes. I actually said take it out of the house!
Also, when thor came out, I felt that I shouldn’t watch it, but I soon caved (chris hemsworth! P.s. recently noticed that he has some little stars tattood on his wrist 🤔) the latest avengers films (thanos) & x men, are showing their true colours. What am I supposed to watch?? Most biblical epics aren’t true to Bible account! What I’m saying is, it’s everywhere, and I’ve been/am suckered in too 😐 The Lord bless you & keep you
