Just as the First Coming of Christ was for salvation, the Second Coming of Christ is for judgment and damnation. Just as Christ came in humility and humiliation at His First Advent, He will come WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY at His Second Advent (Mt 24:30).

There are many Christians who have failed to see this truth. Indeed there is much confusion about the Second Coming, with some even imagining that there is no difference between the Resurrection/Rapture and the Second Coming. Some even think that the Second Coming equals the end of the world. Some do not even believe that there will be a battle of Armageddon. Some do not believe that God will gather all Jews from around the world at that time so that they are confronted by their true Messiah in Israel, who will stand on the Mount of Olives and split it in two. Some do not believe that after His Second Coming, Christ will literally establish His literal reign on earth for one thousand years. And the list goes on. Utter confusion when there should be perfect clarity.

It is truly amazing to think that Enoch – the seventh from Adam (who lived on earth around 3400 BC) – prophesied about the Second Coming of Christ to execute judgment: And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him. (Jude 1:14, 15)

We see the Second Coming of Christ in Revelation 19:11-21. This is a literal, real, visible, tangible Second Coming with Christ returning to earth with all His saints and angels (called “clouds” because of their white and shining appearance): Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen. (Rev 1:7)

This verse tells us that (1) every person on earth will see the majestic Second Coming of Christ, and (2) every person – the whole unbelieving and ungodly world – will weep and wail and mourn because Christ is coming to judge them in His wrath.

This is further detailed in 2 Thessalonians 1: 6-10 and Revelation 6:15-17: Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power; When He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day...

...And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

In view of the certainty of the Second Coming of Christ, God has given a warning to every person on earth to repent. Indeed He has commanded ALL MEN EVERYWHERE to repent (Acts 17:30,31): And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He hath ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him [Christ] from the dead.

I agree His second coming will be to judge, and pour out His wrath, but how many of these threads are you going to start to promote your belief in a pre-trib rapture of the church?

The Second Coming of Christ has nothing to do with the Rapture. Whether pre-trib or post-trib.

And here we go again.
The rapture of the church and the second coming are not related.
You have put this personal belief out many times and many times some have disagreed.
There is nothing new here that has not been debated before.

The rewards to believers will be given in Heaven before the Second Coming. However, if you regard reigning with Christ as a reward, then that is after the Second Coming.

So, Nehemiah6... you think preterism is an absurd heresy, and you think the second coming will be for judgment. Tell me, what exactly do you think happened in Jerusalem in 70 AD? Who was behind it, and what did it accomplish?

The future second coming will see the resurrection, catching up, and final judgement by fire in the twinkling of an eye, immediately after the tribulation eternity begins, in the New Heaven, Earth, Jerusalem.

There is a difference, Jesus Christ is God, the resurrection happens to all that are in the graves John 5:28-29, the catching up pertains to those living at the second coming, the event mentioned all happen at the "Last Day" immediately after the tribulation Matt 24:29-31

To address this question we need to go back to Matthew 23:37-39 and 24:1,2:

CHRIST PREDICTED THE DESTRUCTION OF JERUSALEM AND THE TEMPLE
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Because Israel rejected Jesus of Nazareth, God brought His judgment upon the temple, Jerusalem, Judea, and the Jews. "And ye would not" alludes to the rejection of Christ. And God used the Roman army of Titus to bring about His judgment. Josephus was the eye-witness historian (biased towards the Romans) who recorded what happened in Book 6:

SLAUGHTER OF THE JEWS
But when they went in numbers into the lanes of the city, with their swords drawn, they slew those whom they overtook, without mercy, and set fire to the houses wither the Jews were fled, and burnt every soul in them, and laid waste a great many of the rest; and when they were come to the houses to plunder them, they found in them entire families of dead men, and the upper rooms full of dead corpses, that is of such as died by the famine; they then stood in a horror at this sight, and went out without touching anything...

Titus also sent a great number into the provinces, as a present to them, that they might be destroyed upon their theaters, by the sword and by the wild beasts; but those that were under seventeen years of age were sold for slaves.

THE DESTRUCTION OF THE TEMPLE IN 70 AD
But when Titus perceived that his endeavors to spare a foreign temple turned to the damage of his soldiers, and then be killed, he gave order to set the gates on fire... And now the soldiers had already put fire to the gates, and the silver that was over them quickly carried the flames to the wood that was within it, whence it spread itself all on the sudden, and caught hold on the cloisters. Upon the Jews seeing this fire all about them, their spirits sunk together with their bodies, and they were under such astonishment, that not one of them made any haste, either to defend himself or to quench the fire, but they stood as mute spectators of it only...

But Titus said, that "although the Jews should get upon that holy house, and fight us thence, yet ought we not to revenge ourselves on things that are inanimate, instead of the men themselves;" and that he was not in any case for burning down so vast a work as that was, because this would be a mischief to the Romans themselves, as it would be an ornament to their government while it continued...

But as for that house, God had, for certain, long ago doomed it to the fire; and now that fatal day was come, according to the revolution of ages; it was the tenth day of the month Lous, [Ab,] upon which it was formerly burnt by the king of Babylon;...

THE DESTRUCTION OF JERUSALEM IN 70 AD
And now the Romans set fire to the extreme parts of the city, and burnt them down, and entirely demolished its walls.... AND thus was Jerusalem taken, in the second year of the reign of Vespasian, on the eighth day of the month Gorpeius...

Below you see the "Second Coming" of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the believers in Jesus Christ.

Matthew 24:29-31KJV
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

John 6:40KJV
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 11:23-24KJV
23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

Consider the following (about your verse, here ^ ):

--Verse 31 says, "[gather]... from the four winds, from the ends [plural] of the heavens [plural] to the ends [plural] of them [plural] [meaning, 'from the extremities'... no place left out]"

--this is not saying "FROM one end of Heaven TO [as if to relocate to] the [other] end of Heaven"... Instead, it (the entire phrase) simply means "from the extremities" (gathered FROM THE EXTREMITIES [plural])

--This context is "the elect" of Israel (having come to faith IN/DURING the trib years, FOLLOWING "our Rapture) being gathered to ONE PLACE upon the EARTH (Jerusalem), from "where [they've been] SCATTERED" (i.e. "sow[n] unto the earth"). This is not a Rapture CONTEXT.

--another passage showing a similar thing to Matt24:31's wording is: Jer49:36 - "And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of the heavens [PLURAL], and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come."

(thus showing that this "scattering" toward "all those winds" [that "the four quarters OF THE HEAVENS [plural]" scattered them toward] is speaking NOT of "UP IN Heaven," but of "the extremities" ...on the earth (and into the [various] nations), in this context (Jer49:36). It is similar to that which we read in the Matt24:31 verse (though indeed the Mark passage uses the singular, for "heaven," but this is not untrue... there will have been people/saints who DIE in the trib years [having come to faith IN/DURING the trib years, FOLLOWING "our Rapture"--those at the 5th Seal, "under the altar," for example, who DIED in the trib yrs] who also will be "resurrected" [speaking of their "bodies"] at the END of the trib/AFTER it... just like the OT saints will be "resurrected" AFTER the trib [Dan12:13]... but these contexts are NOT speaking of "our Rapture [IN THE AIR]" event)

--Matt24:29-31 is parallel to the following passage (at the "GREAT" trumpet):

Isaiah 27:12-13 (in a passage found in what is commonly called "the little apocalypse" [Isaiah 24-27]) -

12 In that day the LORD will thresh from the flowing Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt, and you, O Israelites, will be gathered one by one. [NOTE: *NOT* "AS ONE" like WE will be!] 13 And in that day a great trumpet will sound, and those who were perishing in Assyria will come forth with those who were exiles in Egypt. And they will worship the LORD in the holy mountain AT JERUSALEM. [from "where [they were] SCATTERED" (or from where they've been "sow[n] unto the earth"--same thing meant, "scattered" unto all the nations [plural])]

[from "where [they were] SCATTERED" (or from where they've been "sow[n] unto the earth"--same thing meant, "scattered" unto all the nations [plural])]

EDIT to add to my post:

...so, yes, Matt24:29-31 is AFTER the trib (at its END--at Christ's Second Coming to the earth Rev19)... but it is NOT "our Rapture [/SNATCH / caught up-away / harpazo]" which is completely distinct (in every way) from this (including the "destination location").
