scripture tells us He remembers them no more, and we are being conformed to His image as we stay in Him. I believe and have heard it taught that it may be to grow us in immediate repentance, immediate, so that we return to one on one fellowship with Him, communication with the Father in Jesus name, about every 10 seconds.

Thank you all for your responses. I have decided to take the word of my wife, pastor, and other Christian friends and move on from this. I will not let this hold me captive any longer.

You were honest with your wife. She’s blessed. Most married people cheat every day, and lie about it. ‘Whoever looks on a woman [man] to lust after her [him], has already committed adultery in his heart’...This is where the marriage is really tested 😐

Thank you for clarifying. My wife prays for me daily hoping these feelings of guilt/shame will go away. I have way more than I deserve, that’s for sure.
