I dont control what they are reading thats not the way libraries work. The reader chooses their own book I just help them. The library is the reading room. And its already got thousands of books, real ones.
Hi. Maybe I'm too Young to discuss on this topic. I was literally born with computers and now I'm studying this subjects at school. I joined on Facebook in 2008, so i was still a kid.
I think, (obviously i like computers and techology otherwise i wasn't study it) as in everything, you can use it as good or bad.
I could make a long speech but i won't, of course the most beautiful thing that technology and computers brings is that is comfortability in many aspects of our lives, and that you can stay in touch with people all over the world, the remainig is an infinite list of bad things it brought.

Hi there, my first experience with computers was programming an IBM mainframe in Year 11 Computer Studies way back in 1979. We've come a long way since then...

its amazing how far computers had developed from huge noisy machines to the phones we now have that can do everything practically instantly
although I think improvements could be made for printers cos they always break down. I would go for laser over inkjet anyday.
If xerox or whoever it is that makes the copiers and printers could make them easier to use they would be onto a winner.
I still remmeber the old typewriters with the ribbons my dad had one..I dont know where it is now but we used them with twink and used to have to bang the keys quite hard. But at least they printed and it worked and the type didnt fade.

when they work they are great but I am over being blamed for everything when they dont work.
for example, last night my sister wanted to facetime the whole family, and for God knows what reason, it just didnt work on the mac, the sound wasnt working, then it wouldnt work on the ipad. and she spend about ten minutes chewing MY ear out after on the phone and when it did work on the ipad blaming ME for it not working on the mac.
But sometimes this stuff happens. Its exactly the same with these so called smart tvs, my parent blame ME when they cant turn it off or change from AV to their channel.

Yeah, basically... right down to the binary code sent between the communication devices. The only difference was, instead of microchips sending and receiving the binary code, humans did that part.

well the concerning thing with children being exposed to porn and things via gaming sites.
also dating sites...extrememly risky.
malware and viruses.
graphic violence
trolls and cyber bullies on forums and media..

phishing
You have to be savvy to navigate the internet...if you click on something accidentally or get sucked into giving your credit cards details to someone who sells it on to third parties...it is a huge black hole or pit.
One thing I dont get is why people constantly forward others peoples messages they might be innocuous but them they forward it to everyone or they use heaps of graphics which then completely overload the system. Not everyone has unlimited data...and it still needs to be paid for somehow.
One thing thats really handy is the delete button...but thing is even librarian know with electronic archival storage that could just be wiped out in an instant. Its not foolproof. You could put a computer in a time capsule but it might not be able to work even five or ten years later, whereas a book would still be able to be read lol

I think you called it 'liquid paper' It was like white paint you put over your typos and when it dried you could type over it again.

In the olden days it used to be a job only females would be hired to do. The IT part of it was changing the ribbon.
Letters were then put in an envelope and you sent them in the mail with a stamp.
I wonder if typewriters might come back in fashion now that printers are proving so useless. They would have to include little emoji icons on the keyboards though, and come in rainbow coloured inks..but you can just use coloured paper.

I've been pretty much living and breathing computers my entire life since I was about 7 (that was when I learned my first computer programming language).
I've studied Computer Science for my college undergrad degree and got a Master in Software Engineering for my grad school.
I've worked for multiple billion or hundred-million dollar software companies.
Nowadays, I spend most of my days and nights computer programming on my own software projects.
Anyways, getting back to your question. I have 2 answers:
1- Before being born again
2- After being born again
Before being born again, computers were my entire world and I dreamed that everything would be managed by computers one day. Also, I lived my life as a pagan, so I was very attached to the material world and the idea of having a comfortable life. As such, computers seemed essential for making life easier and better. I did a lot of my social networking through computers too, obviously through Facebook when it came out. That's how I went on most of my snowboarding trips and did my rock band show invitations. I used to host really crazy parties at my shared apartment in Chicago in my 20's too with 100+ people attending, half of which I didn't know and were friends of friends, thanks to Facebook.
After being born again, my outlook changed as I think computers are just a fun social tool for building things that serve others now. I think it is more important to be attached to the Holy Spirit, not the material world. It is more important to be grounded in the Word, not in computer programming languages. Also, I think it builds the spirit much more to rely on myself without technologies just like Jesus and other prophets survived in the wilderness. I find the challenge of it a lot more fun than the convenience computers offer, which seems childish and negligible in importance by comparison now.
Obviously, I use the most expensive MacBook Pro there is because I need it for software engineering work. But, I wouldn't recommend to anyone who is not a software engineer or a computer productivity worker.

I have spent much time gaming. From there I moved to modding, to coding, to reverse engineering, to penetration testing, to web development, to majoring in information systems and security, I have spent time in the past freelancing web development. Used to participate in CTFs and hackthebox PT sandbox. I took networking and service tech classes in high school. I understand x86 and x64 architecture and can read CPU instructions on both archs to debug or RE malware. I have experience with digital forensics, performing acquisitions on live systems for analysis. I can recover all deleted data on hard drives, forensically analyze files for modification or stenography, crack passwords of documents or archives using GPU accelerated brute force. I am proficient in C, C++, and Python. I've mastered PHP, SQL, Javascript, CSS, HTML5. Always more to learn though. I can perform port scans on hosts to assess potential attack vectors and vulnerabilities. I have found real world race condition exploits, buffer overflows, sql injection, XSS (stored), authentication bypasses using cookies, redirect bypass, spoofing user agents, circumventing WAFs, CSRF, and more... I can find hidden directories on web servers, read robot files, version files, etc... I also have in my capability to perform coordinated social engineering exercises and have sales experience. I write my own tools and circumvention, mainly using python or C depending on the attack surface (be it local application or remote application). Python is easier for automating tasks like scanning or fuzzing, also reversing REST APIs. C is better for breaking things.
As per current device, HP laptop 8GB RAM 256 SSD, 8 core.
System is Deepin based on Debian 10
Alternatively, I prefer Fedora OS. Bigger fan of Debian based distros. I use VirtualBox for Windows 10, Debian 9 for development server, and Parrot Home as a virtual live OS when browsing heavily tracking scripted sites.
Note that none of things would impress God, so they're merely useless.
