deliberately missing the point. If you're going to put up monuments to human Rights atrocities then honor the victims instead of the perpetrators

Yeah imagine I robbed a bank and told the judge
Yeah but other people have robbed banks to so you should totally not put me in jail today
For the record, I didn't put up any monuments to human rights atrocities so therefore take no responsibility for any such atrocities or construction of monuments. I really don't care one way or another what happens to them but do believe that one should not simply go out and destroy the property that is not theirs just because they have a problem with it. Despite anything bad or unfortunate that has happened to me, I personally would not want to be classified as a victim. Those that have a personal victim mentally will always remain a victim. For myself, I prefer to be classified as a survival type. Better yet, just don't classify me at all.

not wanting monuments to men who enslaved your ancestors does not equate to victim mentality

It does in my book. My ancestors go back to Adam and Eve. I can't change what has happen in the past but would rather keep moving forward. Tearing down a monument is a symbolic act of rage that accomplishes nothing. The ones vandalizing and destroying property that does not belong to them should be arrested and put into jail for a period of time commensurate with the crime committed, that includes those that riot, loot, arson, assault, and murder. The American community as a whole is a victim of this wanton chaos and destruction that is unravelling the fabric of society.

Yeah imagine a statue of Hitler in a Jewish neighborhood
"You guys should totally stop protesting. This is a total victim mentality"
You're speaking from an attitude of white privilege
Not having empathy for people of color who find monuments to slave owners offencive

I have much empathy for people of color. I have zero empathy for those that riot, loot, arson, assault and commit murder underr the guise of a social justice movement.

LOL. That was good.

Genuine Christians want these statues gone but it should be done in a lawful way.

As I have stated many times before. The removal of every civil war, or slave owner monument in the US will accomplish absolutely nothing.

Until we address the underlying problems that allow criminals to control communities, nothing will improve the lives of people in these communities.

. . . There is the word "America" which is an continent and not any individual nation, that is Canada, Mexico and all the way to the tip of Peru are Americans in that they were born and dwell in South, Central or North America shall we force the USA to stop using America to refer to it's nation because it is offensive to all other Americans?
We do not call ourselves American ;) We may say we are North American, though ;):D

US citizens calling themselves "American" is not offensive to me at all :geek:

Then there's not really an American flag? I was born in Texas,I live southeast Texas but in business I sailed to many places and used to update my profile according to my location but finally just left it as it was. In other threads I have mentioned what I am speaking of that is I would not say to customs in any of the other American nations "American" if they ask where I was from because they see that as though you are trying to conceal information from them and tow you boat, search it and detain you for days, lol

I have heard stories of Americans pretending to be Canadians while foreign traveling because Canadians have a better reputation :giggle:

Of course there is an American flag. Where did that question come from? However, it is not my flag :geek:

I wonder how people of color as so offended by a statue, yet have no problem with Housing Projects (which are nothing more than social/economical statues) within which they live? I mean, there are so very many black men, women, boys and girls murdered EVERY DAY in the "HOOD." That isn't offensive to them? Seriously?

These Projects are nothing more than modern day Plantation houses where the people of color are housed..........shouldn't they be protesting to have them torn down? I would think so........

It's a bit like reading through the news threads on a Christian chat forum and hoping to find people looking at it all from the Lords point of view.

From the Lords point of view:

How would He deal with those who are rebelling and burning and looting?

Can we look to Scriptures to find out how He dealt with such as these in the past?

I AM NOT, nor have I been talking about those who are peacefully and respectfully demonstrating to bring attention to a serious problem here in the US between law Enforcement and peoples of color. I AM and have been posting my comments addressing those who are engaged in ILLEGAL actions and pretending to be concerned about the real problem.

Historically, in world History, man has done MANY horrible things in the Name of God........that does not mean God approved of what they did. Just as these criminals are doing horrible things in the name of Civil Disobedience and pretending to be seeking racial equality..................

This is part of a process to change a culture .. It's a big reason the ''deep state swamp'' opened our borders to illegals and shipped our manufacturing overseas .. Mills were shut down that generations grew up around and had memories of the communities and mills, schools ,everything .. Now it's gone and the new generations have nothing ..
You are perfectly correct. And now we are seeing the end of America before our eyes. With the collusion of all those who were appointed to protect America from enemies both foreign and domestic.

The protests will only escalate for it is what the American government wants.

They want them to protest, and riot, and be destructive, and even had people to escalate the protests and riots.

Then they can show the people that freedoms do not work, and crack down on them, and then go to a new form of government where there is not Republican or Democrat, but all are equal.

And all nations will then come together and work for peace.

America was set up for this purpose to cause the nations to come together.

And not all wars are won by outright military wars.

America would have the opposing parties to cover the beliefs of the people, and the nation to cover all the beliefs of the world, and then bring all the people together.

The nations came together because of the influence of America in their nation, and in the world.

America did it, she achieved world domination, a feat that no other nation has done, and America knows they cannot rule the world as a single nation, but it will be her ways on earth, and how she wants the world to operate.

And they will produce the New Age Christ, and he will rule the world, a feat that no other man has done.

Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Rev 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Rev 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
Rev 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
Rev 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
Rev 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
Rev 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

The Bible says that Babylon will never have physical dominion again, but her ways are still on earth, and she represents the occult, human religion, and the kingdom of man.

America resurrected the Babylonian system, and is responsible for why the nations came together, so she will be punished for it.
