You misunderstand me. I'm talking about distributing condoms at school. Telling children about condoms is reasonable! Moreover, condoms are not inherently evil! Yet condoms will not solve the problem. Promiscuity is the problem. The fact that availability increases use is a truism and applies to almost everything.

people are not going heres a condom have sex no that is not it people dont give a condom and say nothing i would tell me son not to do it until the legal age but hey with hormones and pressure of a teen life anything can happen so i will also add if anything does happen wear a condom. and with youyr o once you had sex you want more and more and more are you also saying that sex can lead to divorce we doesnt give you any so go out and look for it. you making out sex to be a hard core drug that you get addicted to.

i have a friend who i have sex with sometimes we may do it once a month sometimes once a week or every 2 weeks or every 2 months. there is no pattern to sex like your making out to be but honselty i know that i cannot prove to you otherwise im not even gona try. they only thing that i can say is hey go have sex yourself and see if you want more and become an addict to sex you start have sex 3 times a day.

sex is not the greastest thing in the world there are better things out there. the good thing about sex is that its free to do depending on how you aquire it

Wow Im personally feel its important to carry a condom around why becuase people who say they will wait till marriage are just as likey to have sex as those who dont but the will not wear condoms. I dont want to be a statisic or get something that can be life changing. Im not ina relatioship there for at the momment dont care one around with me but when I get into a relatioship I plan on carrying at least one with me at all times just in case. I want to wait untill marriage but I still want to be safe if something where to happen so to me its Important and its really American culture that has made carry a condom around means your doing it like crazy when i think its just being safe to do so.

Again, you clearly are forgetting this is the REAL world. It doesn't matter what WE want, the world will never catch up. Condoms are the ONLY way to make sure the abortion rate doesn't sky rocket. It's unrealistic to tell all college students not to have sex. It just will not happen.

Using a condom is just another way of abortion in my eyes, just a form of abortion that takes place before the embryo has the chance to develop in the womb.

Not for unmarried couples or better say not for CHRISTIAN singles (boys or girls).
I think that condoms for married couples is after them if they want to use it.
Singles need to wait in the Lord until you meet the right one and get married.

I think condoms are a perfectly acceptable method of birth control even if an uncomfortable one. I mean most girls are on the pill anyways, so condoms aren't any better or worse. I mean unless youre anti-any form of birth control i don;t see the big deal.

For everyone that thinks giving condoms to children will solve problems you should compare teen pregnancy and std statistics from 1950's, condoms not available, to today. The problem is not a lack of educaton about sex...are you kidding me children know more about sex at any earlier age than ever! The problem is a lack of morality...the western world has removed any talk of morality, especially God, from our schools and daily lives.

Do some research...condoms do not protect as much as you think! Careful about the compromise....many have lost their souls for compromise.

I work in the health care industry and the number of teens contracting std's is on the rise not decreasing and condom use has been taught since the 1980's. We have ignored God's plan of staying pure and saving ourselves for our spouses and adopted (compromised) sexual pervusion and self indulgence. Christians in the west have compromised ourselves right out of the public sphere and now we find ourselves ignored and ridiculed. WAKE UP CHRISTIANS!!

and when u look at a more recent study STD Surveillance, 2008 - Trends the gap between that old study is really different the 10-14 age is really low. also a quote from that site "

now by your saying they havent forced children to learn about god his moralities etc again. so why has it drop, this study contradicts your study overwise it should be higher than ever not declining.

Statistically any decrease in a particular std in teens is minimal compared to its rarity before the "enlightenment" of the sexual revolution. All of what we are discussing here is not a result of a lack of sexual education to children but just the opposite. We have taught the most irresponsible and careless segment of our culture "teenagers" that sex feels good, is fun, and is safe if you just wear this. When God teaches us that it is the most intimate, sacred and forever binding act a man and a woman can engage in. I am worried that Christians are compromising God's teaching for man's resoning. His ways are not our ways. Teaching a child how to engage in such a sacred God created and intentioned act before we even teach them to drive a car should defy even man's reasoning!
