I’m too tired to argue today.

It’s been a long busy day for me.

Blessings to all in Christ.
Why argue...just embrace the truth we are laying bare, come on line with the correct message and be right with God!

Be not removed from the simplicity found in Christ!

i think that the 'broad' path is one of a self-determined, self-willed righteousness of works.
this is what all religions teach, except for the Way we heard through the gospel -- and a salvation earned by the desire and effort of man by the merit of his outward behavior is diametrically opposed to the hope we have in the grace of God shown to us through His sacrifice on the cross and rising from the grave.

by far the majority of all beliefs among all peoples rests on man making his way to heaven via various strictures.
but only one, narrow, unbelievable word said, it is God reaching down to bring you up to Him; take the lowest seat, and believe.
Many will say in that day, have we not done blah, blah, blah in your name.....the word many = plenteous in number....and the reason is obvious....

You quote scripture that has nothing to do with the discussion. You quite popular “they will love you for reminding them” scripture. You don’t quote, “forgive us as we forgive those who sin against us” or “be who endures to the end will be saved” because either you don’t know it’s there or it won’t make you popular. Second, I weave scripture into my sentences wondering who will disagree because they don’t know the Bible at all, only the positive promises they like. The ones you post. They have faith in the promises men have made them, like you, ignoring what God requires them to do. I claim nothing if the kind. You easily malign. Except you believe what men say, not “daddy” whose warnings you “greek” away.

Our all sufficiency is in Him.

2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Will you just accept what is written as truth?
“He who endures to the end will be saved.” When will you believe Him?[/QUOTE]

I posted concerning the scripture about enduring to the end. Did you skip over?

A metaphor is not helped by insisting it happened in the natural too. Jesus was a man who suffered. He was not a natural animal called a lamb.
Slain from the foundation of the world. I would think this is spiritual. Before creation. A truth difficult to understand but is stated so is truth. Much like eternal security. Not being the work of man, but of God.

I can only encourage those not yet in those last years to pursue knowing God Himself instead of being set in their church doctrinal statements. „That I might know Him, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings is a goal worthy of a lifetime.“

3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Php 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Php 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Php 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Php 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Straining Toward the Goal

Php 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Php 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Php 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Php 3:16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

Php 3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

Php 3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Php 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Php 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Php 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

OSAS Believers KNOW HIM, intimately, personally, and HE IS IN US AND WE ARE IN JESUS CHRIST's SPIRITUAL BODY, and all of that is LITERALLY, not symbolism. AND you only CLAIM to KNOW what OSAS IS REALLY ABOUT, when we see how little you about OSAS TRUE BELIEFS.

I am curious. What is your specific definition of "JESUS CHRIST's SPIRITUAL BODY"? (Scripture would be helpful in your explanation)

Aside: My definition is limited to: 'it is not a physical body'.

well, apparently some are reading the word without the grace of God. There’s the understanding.

When you are born again, for me,God led me to scripture.....I can’t understand the word in my carnal mind...when I was a non believer .only in the Spirit..when I was saved....even then,I don’t understand everything.

I have even written in the Spirit on Facebook.....God speaking through me in my writing.

Enduring to the end for me means.....we are already saved once we become born again....the reason we will endure to the end is...because we have the power of the Holy Spirit in us,keeping us enduring to the end.

I have been really stressed just lately in a certain area.....then The penny drops......take your eyes and beliefs away from yourself and place them on Jesus, put your trust and belief in him.....then my peace and security return.

I have to constantly do this....because being honest....I am still learning to trust and rely on God.........

You need the Holy Spirit grace, leading, through scripture....you also have to be born again in order for that to happen.

Only the Holy Spirit can lead you through scripture.

Use caution in using the "majority" as a measuring stick.

Broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat (Matthew 7:13).

In my estimation, OSAS is the broad way.

You do not even understand what we TEACH, and BELIEVE, or how we DISCIPLE to who are receptive to the GOSPEL.

One way to enhance your understanding of what biblical passages meant is to ask yourself, "The audience that was listening to those words when Jesus spoke to them, how would they have understood the meaning of those words?"

That is what context means. The Jews that were hearing those words from Jesus, how would they have interpreted the meaning?

No...I don’t ask myself anything....I ask God.......he leads me into all truth..not by me“asking myself “

Sounds like your relying on self!

In that case, anyone can say anything, by claiming "God led me to that truth".
