When I was 8 to 18 I did not want to disappoint God. But I took an incident that happened and felt God was at fault. And it drove me as far away as I thought I could go. Today, just like when I was 8 to 18, I don't want to disappoint God. So I agree with your post.
It’s the dark night of the soul biker. Try googling it.

Then if you believe I am being honest, why would you accuse me of being biased?
Confirmation bias... we all have confirmation bias... the point I was making to look beyond that... we all have to do that.

Scripture is clear OSAS is what it teaches.
You are using your experience to confirm NOSAS... you need to let scripture stand on its own apart from preconceived ideas and biases.

If a person no longer wants to be Saved, I do not believe God is going to force that person to remain Saved!

EH

Do you believe that once you are born again that it doesn’t matter what you do, you are saved?

The prodigal son story is not a onetime event biker. That’s His mercy. Keep on and you’ll go home. There is a scripture for that.

I have wandered off for a long time....but God Never left me.........my life had a void but I always knew he was still with me....just waiting for me to come back to him.....which I did....it was a lesson well learnt..

And I agree to your post 100%

But I no longer wanted to be Saved.
I no longer wanted anything to do with God.
I did the things to ensure I was no longer with God or Saved.

I don't believe God said, I am going to make that boy be saved during that moment!

The prodigal thought his life was in the ruins.
I was having fun!
I came back because I promised my Dad.
Yes, I eventually begged God to take me back, but at first, I was doing it for my Dad only.

Once again if you want to talk to me talk to me
I am not here to discuss doctrines made by men but what people actually believe
when you try to talk to me as an Arminian or put me under the scope of another doctrine you are not hearing me and have no basis for which to discuss anything with me

I am not going to respond to this post. Instead again i

My labels are not meant as an insult, but an attempt to understand and labels are a short cut to understanding at times.
Doctrines made by man are a convenient short cut to understanding truth. I grant they are fallible, but they do have much merit in my opinion and there is wisdom (not perfection or infallibility) in the opinion of many)

Anyways, I will avoid labels in the future if I can.
Can I call you a Christian even though that is a label? I guess you see my point.

Aside: I am just trying to communicate as best I can. I am a flawed person, be patient with me.

If a believer refuses in the future to confess sins he did (past at that point) is he still a true believer? You said no true believer refuses to confess sins the Holy Spirit points out. So I am asking the obvious.

My opinion is once we are BORN AGAIN, HE causes our Human Spirit to change from once dead to becoming eternally alive.
We then will want to confess SIN, even when we remember what we did in the past, that was SIN. It just comes out of us, not that we think if we DON'T we will not be forgiven. IT IS OUR NEW NATURE OF OUR HUMAN SPIRIT. We will want to confess SINS, weather it be
Past, Present, or FUTURE. Not that we Confess Sins that we already CONFESSED before, AND HE HAS FORGOTTEN THEM, but once in a
while a fresh Memory, I remember something that I did, in the past, that was SIN, but have forgotten, and instantly in my mind I say,
"LORD, please forgive me!"

I have a question for you, "Many of us have Quoted Scripture to you, and you just DISMISS IT.
So how is it that you can dismiss those verses so easily?
Are you pondering the VERSE FIRST, OR Automatically Dismiss because it came from a OSAS BELIEVER?

Not offended at all...but I am not sure which sayings?
It’s been posted that OSAS means one can do anything and still go to heaven. I was just asking if that was true. You use the term. I dont care for it but eternal security seems correct.

sometimes I hate spellcheck.

Do you still think about those meetings and miss your fun?

At this point I’m not sure if this fits but will try. Belief is child like faith. Hearing and taking it as truth.
Agreed. But I would add 2 more to the definition

Knowledge – an intellectual content to believe. This includes knowledge of God, Christ, sin and faith as found in the Bible. Faith is limited by knowledge for one cannot believe what one does not know. The source of knowledge is: Romans 10:17 So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself). Some believe the message must come from men; others would say the message, though coming from man is actuated by the Spirit for otherwise it falls on death ears.

Agreement/Assent to the Truth – the wholehearted, emotional assent that the truth applies to the person himself. (Assent is conviction produced by evidence. Faith without evidence is irrational or impossible)

Trust – Faith has a volitional aspect. In the trust aspect, knowledge has passed to assent, acceptance or approval, and from acceptance/approval it goes to volitional trust, surrender and reliance. All of this is actuated by the testimony of the Spirit for it is spiritually discerned. 2 Timothy 1:12b Still I am not ashamed, for I know (perceive, have knowledge of, and am acquainted with) Him Whom I have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on), and I am [positively] persuaded that He is able to guard and keep that which has been entrusted to me and which I have committed [to Him] until that day. Of special and indisputable significance of the volitional trust, surrender and submission of the person who exercises faith in God is the expression “to obey,” a synonym for saving faith

If God knows the end from the beginning, then would He not know who are His? It’s just then a matter of His intervention in our life.

Is this Calvinistic?
Doesn't matter is something is Calvinistic. Is it truth is the important thing.

Calvinism believes: God ordains every things that happens down to each molecule. He does this by causing something to occur or permitting it to occur. (I agree with this, but I opinion doesn't make it correct though)

Hmmm ... that are a lot of other theories ... some think God created the universe and sits back and watches to see what will happen
some think God intervenes at times
In regards to salvation a majority think God looks into the future to see what happens. ( I believe this to be false as it makes God knowledge dependent upon people and God sovereignty subservient to peoples will, that it breaks the law of causality, that is contradicts scripture, on and on.... but people smarter than I disagree)

Aside: Read a couple Systematic Theology books and you will probably double your knowledge

because of those saying that is what it means. I wasn’t trying to offend you. I don’t study doctrines.
Those who say OSAS always means that you can live anyway you want to and still be saved don't know what they are talking about, although there are some who do in fact teach this.

I prefer "preservation of the saints" to OSAS.

By the way you should study doctrine, we are to be adorned with doctrine; Titus 2:10, and we are to be sound in doctrine, which we cannot know without study; 2 Timothy 2:15; 2 Timothy 4:1ff.

Without trying to offend, you do have your own doctrine, it is expressed in what you say on here and anywhere you discuss it.

I know you didn’t ask me the question....but I believe God does laugh....especially when I tell him how things are going to turn out.....he’s up there laughing at me.....haaa.
You have a 'loving aura' about you in my opinion ...

It is a fun question.

Another is to imagine playing poker with God.

OSAS .. means once saved always saved.

Does becoming born from above take God out of the picture or put God in the picture?... so their slander has no merit... ... it comes from

ignorance and a perversion of Grace.
