The OP takes the futurist interpretation of events. That certainly isn't the only way to view them, and it has contributed to much of the fluff peddled to the Church in the last fifty years.

88 Reasons, anyone? Let's start taking a critical look at the fruit of this view.
Dino, I cannot think of a greater folly than to undermine the Scripture in favor of so-called good intentions. You have made that same claim several times in several flavors and I utterly reject it. Picking and choosing "views" because of their "fruit" and denying the plain teaching of Scripture is a no sell.

There you go with the black-and-white thinking, ascribing folly to me because you think you understand how I think. I assure you; you don't know anywhere near enough about me to even hint. You seem to have trouble considering different views without demeaning those who hold them. Do you honestly think that everyone who disagrees with you is stupid?

I don't "choose views" because of their fruit; rather, I consider the fruit along with the scriptural foundation of the view. There is a lot of bad fruit (false "prophecy") from the futurist view; that tells me something is wrong with it, but by itself, it isn't enough to reject the view completely.

In contrast, what is the bad fruit of the preterist view? The response can't make assumptions about the validity of the view itself.

So-called black and white thinking is, again, irrelevant and in my opinion of the flesh. And preterism isn't simply "bad fruit" it is damnable heresy and false doctrine. In any case the Scripture is not ambivalent nor is it nonspecific, it is clear and it is also deadly serious.

Miss the point much?

You need to show what the bad fruit of preterism is, not simply declare it as bad fruit. I can make the same claim about futurism, with the same logical validity.

None of the posts have "proven" that preterism is a heresy. That's an opinion only; one that I find laughable in its absurdity.

As we see the spirit of the Antichrist in a world that is perishing, will America worship the Antichrist?

Don't forget apostasy and deception...

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
(Mat 24:5)

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
(1Ti 4:1)

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
(2Ti 3:1-4)

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
(2Ti 4:3-4)

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

What is this, Perry Mason?
The falling away means the Believer is proclaiming Christ while forsaking the Cross. The Believer is no longer living by the Faith of the Son of God who loved us and gave Himself for us (the Cross). This is apostasy! The Church is sick!

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. Isaiah 32:17

Romans 4:5 teaches us that God only awards Righteousness only on the basis of Faith in Christ and His Finished Work. Our Faith must be placed exclusively in Jesus, the Son of God, and Jesus, the Lamb of God to be awarded Righteousness. If we preach Jesus alone and ignore the Cross (the Lamb of God), that is another Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:4). This is sin, a insult to God!

Holiness and Sanctification are actually the same thing. Our holiness is obtained by faith and trust in Christ and what He did at the Cross. Without such Faith, there is no holiness, and there is no Salvation.

The gospel remains to be the only avenue through which Righteousness is revealed and experienced (Romans 1:16-17), and without the experience of Righteousness there is no Holiness, and without Holiness, no one can see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

When the Believer is proclaiming Christ while forsaking the Cross, this is a form of godliness because they are rejecting the power which is the Cross of Christ (1 Cor. 1:18). Because of the flesh, the Cross of Christ is an offence to most Believers after salvation. Therefore, grace stops and sin begins to much more abound.

The Scripture says, “14 If My People, who are called by My Name
(Believers), shall humble themselves (humility), and pray, and seek My Face (the prayer of Repentance), and turn from their wicked ways (which proclaims the manner of true Repentance); then will I hear from Heaven (but not otherwise), and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land (God’s Prescription for spiritual sickness).” 2 Chronicles 7

James 4:10 says - Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

A humble Believer trust and Faith is placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and His Finished Work at Calvary Cross where the victory was won. This Believer is denying themselves by taking up their cross daily.

Luke 9:23 - And He said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

Denial of self is recognizing my moral and spiritual poverty; for I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwells no good thing (Romans 7:18). It is knowing and understanding that I am unable to serve God in my own will power, self-will, strength, ability, and power. We see this in the first three "Beatitudes."

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5

Take up his cross is seen in Matthew 5:6; Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

I am filled by God's provisions (GRACE) found in Christ by placing my Faith exclusively in Christ and Him Crucified (Believing who Jesus is, and what Jesus has done). Therefore I receive all the benefits of this "Resurrection Life" by understanding that we have been planted together [Christ and ourselves] in the likeness of His Death [Romans 6:5, Psalm 103:2].

More empty opinion. You missed the point as completely as did CV5.

Making statements supposedly encompassing the beliefs of others is a waste of time. Quote people who actually claim the denials you mention.

Believers don't fall away. That's like saying the body of Christ, the true church, is corrupt. NONSENSE!
