I made that post because several on here seem troubled in their hearts over receiving dislikes, or funny emojis, and have made a few posts about their concern and kept pointing it out. I haven't complained about it personally and wanted to offer comfort to others that it has even happened to me!!!!!! Can you believe others have done that to me? I know, hard to believe! It happens to all of us I think! :)
Just reading this again.................. I am so sorry to read this has happened to you.

You know to be honest and not a hypocrite since no one likes a hypocrite that is for sure.

I have complained about it actually, many times, I figured better to complain than having an upset stomach and needing to open that bottle of wine.

God forbid anyone think I was a drunkard too !! :(

I recently gave up hard alcohol but still enjoy really cold beer, especially in the Summer.

Oh wow @Magenta , so encouraging to hear that...
I have been sober now for 6 months , and I to only have God to thank for that , He has taken that ole desire away , but I know I have to be cautious always , less I fall into temptation...
I take one day at a time , because that is all we have...

Deceased would not be room temperature... and you will still hear "her voice in your head" so you are out of luck there too!! :)

Oh, Rosemary! I am so glad to hear you are making headway, because I know how discouraged you sometimes became after achieving a bit of sobriety and then falling back into it (the "bottle"), even as you were able to receive God's grace around it and forgive yourself. Drinking before I was saved was something I did pretty much every day for many years spanning into double digits. It was only when I cried out to God for help that I, too, lost the desire to use mind and mood altering substances, and I found a lot of support, encouragement, guidance, inspiration, and insight in the rooms of AAA and NA and through working the 12 steps as well :) Part of my "story" is that I did not even believe in God when I cried out to Him for help, nor was I seeking help to quit drinking and drugging, but help to stop other things that were causing me untold pain. I just wanted the pain to stop... and for the most part, it has :D
