I was thinking about the thieves hanging beside Jesus that day... They were at this life's end. They'd both clearly heard about Him. One mocked Him. One chose to make a wise request of Him.

If you were standing right beside Jesus right now, what would you most like to ask Him?

To be honest - If I am saved. Am I God's child. That is my only question to him.
And maybe - will I ever get married. ( just to know what should i be ready for) :D

I would ask him for wisdom and strength, and if he would tell me his plan for my life, if he wouldn't then yeah wisdom and strength.

id ask him to give me wisdom courage and strength , that verse fro i havnt given you a spitit of fear but power love and self disapline, thats what id ask for for too, in abundance , cos sometimes it gets tough to shwo those things, and to know hes got plans to prosper me not to harm me to give me a hope and a future cos its easy hearing those things but not easy to beleive em when your going through tough times

I would ask Him the same questions I have been asking and feel like I am not hearing answers to.

1. What direction in mistry should I take?
2. When will I have a family?
3. Can I have a raise?
4. What do I say to minister to my father?
5. Jesus can I please have a weight loss miracle?
6. Please help my students appreciate art and music, be more respectful and grow up with the desire to know you more.
7. Jesus will you please make gas prices go down?
8. Can I please have the strength to continue talking to you even though I feel that sometimes there is no reply?

I'd ask for a hug.
That too and Id ask for a piggy back ride and tell him I love him and thankful hes my big brother and saviour.
Also Id ask, now Abba gave me the gift of hospitality so what would you like for dinner?
Then Id ask him to take me fishing and teach me how to gut and cook a fish on the beach like he did :)

Interesting that this has only been answered by women so far...

What can I do for you, my Lord ?

It's not a question of what you can do for me, what can I do for you, my Lord.

TRUE....

Its kind of strange because my mind isn't really wired to want to ask Jesus a question. I think I would totally just let him control the conversation.

Jesus isn't Santa.

I would ask him if we could walk on water and then perform some miracles.

Now that I thought about it I changed my mind.

First I would be honored.
I think I would feel honored because I believe I am unworthy of his presence.

Then I would ask him to forgive me for my sins.
Because it would be really special to do it face to face.

From my perspective, it's not really about asking Him FOR something (the Santa/genie thing), but ABOUT something (learning and growing). :) Aren't there things you'd like to know about Him? the universe? anything?

I totally get that. :) As much as we FEEL His love, it would be awesome to see it in His eyes, huh?

Its a strange thing really. My curiosity is wound up about getting to know small things about who He is, to just see Him and ask questions, feels.... too easy?

It would be like getting the scientific explanation for why a flower is beautiful or getting the elemental makeup of a Nebula's gases. At the end of the day, its it just the paint in the artists stroke.

All of the things I want to know, I couldn't understand the answer to, like Grace & Love. Why?
