True.
And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
(Luk 1:36)

In the Book of Esther what was Esther's Jewish name and what relation was she to Mordecai?

7 Mordecai had a cousin named Hadassah, whom he had brought up because she had neither father nor mother. This young woman, who was also known as Esther, had a lovely figure and was beautiful.

Ok...I'm thinking of a guy who I kinda like, but I think most people see him as somewhat of a bad guy in the Bible.

He was quite astute, competent at his job, and very loyal to his boss - whether his boss was right or wrong.
He was a trusted right hand man of sorts.
One time he even told his boss to stop acting like a crybaby. (Because his boss was indeed being a crybaby.)
His was kind of sacrificed in a way.

Ok. Another couple hints:
He was a military commander.
He went against orders and killed a Fabio 1.0.

What is the name of the river head that went out of Eden where there is gold?

And what is the name of the land it surrounds?

Sorry @surfer14 I cannot solve your question.

Yup. Joab is right.

It's kinda hard to figure out how hard or easy those clues would be. Did the Fabio 1.0 clue help?

I'll see if I can spend some time figuring out yours.

What is the name of the river head that went out of Eden where there is gold?

And what is the name of the land it surrounds?
Gen2
10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. 11 The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin[d] and onyx are also there.) 13 The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush.[e] 14 The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Ashur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

This passage passage is interesting. What other river splits into 4 separate river as it flows downstream? This doesn't typically happen. Generally, streams come together and join up as the flow downhill. I don't even know what to think about this. To me this feels like a situation that could only happen before the earth had been subjected to lots of forces of erosion. I think it's an indicator of a young earth.

Ok. Here's one for you. This guy I love. I really hope I get a chance to talk with him in heaven. He was bold and brash and just raw - not reserved and not polished. One minute he's doing something where you think he's surely a servant of the devil, and then something miraculous happens and he's giving this super praise to God. Then a little bit later he gets full of himself and you're reading and saying to yourself "Dude?!?! You just got done proclaiming how awesome God is. Now you're gonna do this??!!" I just love how real that is - massive success and total failure. No boring mediocrity.

One thing I like about him - he was smart. There was a situation that came up and he needed to figure it out. He was smart enough to know that a lot of fakers would come with lies. So he gave this completely impossible order which stopped the liars dead in their tracks. He found the truth. It was crazy but brilliant!

I'm gonna leave it at that for a little bit before I give another hint.

LOL! Wow! I guess I made that one too easy. hahaha. I was already thinking about some sly way I could talk about him getting humbled by God for 7 years. And I don't care if everyone else hates him. He's truly one of my favorites in the Bible. I just like how he was so willing to learn and then change his way of thinking and acting based on his newfound knowledge.

And just for anyone that might be reading this that isn't aware. The situation with the impossible order was this. He had a certain dream that really bothered him because he thought that it might mean something. So he called in all his supposedly super smart guys and told them to interpret his dream ... without telling them what the dream was! Of course they couldn't do it. Daniel, the prophet of God, eventually was able to do it. This prompted Nebuchanezzer to give glory to the God that Daniel believed in.

When David was at his bottom, because his men's' wives and daughters were carried off, by the enemy. What did he do?

Just my opinion we should do this too when all of "life" is against us.

1 Samuel 30:6
And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.
