That's amazing. So had it not been for that experience, she might not have believed. Thank God for what He did. I'm sure she will always cherish that experience.
God was hot on her trail. He would have likely come up with another plan to woo and delight her, but you never know. I think if we only knew what might come of our obedience to His promptings, we would more quickly shed our self consciousness and fears and trust Him that He will bring good from our desire to walk in faith out of love and trust for Him.

There was a time I was on a walk in my neighborhood, when I felt very strongly that I was supposed to walk up to a man who was in his driveway smoking a cigarette and ask him something. To be honest, I don't remember what it was. I just know I didn't want to. I was so worried that he would think I was crazy or was judging him, I just couldn't do it. So I didn't. I have no idea what God was up to, and what He wanted to do in that man's life that day through me, but I definitely missed it. I look back at that situation though with sobering conviction that I don't want this to be my story. I would rather be brave/crazy/maybe even wrong than to risk not allowing Him to do something amazing through me. It's REALLY hard to live like this though. Totally is dying to self!!

Think of all the prayers we pray for unsaved friends/family members. Imagine if all of the believers out there were obedient to the Holy Spirit, and when He prompted them, He used them to speak truth to our loved ones right where they were at, or prayed for them and they experienced healing... from a stranger!! These are the things I hope for!

Yes, it reminds me of this scripture: Luke 14: 7 He went on to tell a story to the guests around the table. Noticing how each had tried to elbow into the place of honor, he said, 8 "When someone invites you to dinner, don't take the place of honor. Somebody more important than you might have been invited by the host. 9 Then he'll come and call out in front of everybody, 'You're in the wrong place. The place of honor belongs to this man.' Red-faced, you'll have to make your way to the very last table, the only place left. 10 "When you're invited to dinner, go and sit at the last place. Then when the host comes he may very well say, 'Friend, come up to the front.' That will give the dinner guests something to talk about! 11 What I'm saying is, If you walk around with your nose in the air, you're going to end up flat on your face. But if you're content to be simply yourself, you will become more than yourself."
Good verse.
In my experience it is about making yourself, unimportant to yourself.

Do you remember your first car?
I remember after I got mine suddenly my car was everywhere?
The grandma had one. the pizza guy. everywhere I went there was my car.

That is just how our brains work.
When you are focused on something that is what you see.
So one test for me when i started to walk in these things was to be sure that what I thought was God was not this.

Test 1 - Was it what I was currently focusing on or thinking about.
Test 2 - Was it connected to my recent thoughts, concerns or fears.
Test 3 - Did it seem all too familiar like the theme of a recently binged watch movie series.
Test 4 - Did i have a lot of pepperoni pizza the night before?

The more out of nowhere it came the more I tended to consider it from God.
Especially if it just kept showing up, in more impossible ways the better.

But these are just a baby tools, toys of reason.
You come to discern the Spirits in the following.
Eventually you will just recognize his voice.

ALL Christians are to do this!
It is just coming under Christs leadership of your life.

Those who have a Prophetic gifting just have this in quantity for a different purpose.
For the equipping of the saints.
To help them grow in hearing and following for their own spiritual walk.
To speak directly to those stubborn sheep going there own way
To speak to ones lost pointing them in the right direction.
To head out into the wilderness and meet those crying out to God with their answer.
To deliver a message of Gods life to the dying.
To operate as a watchman in and over your fellowship.

Unfortunate the place of the prophetic has been dishonored in the Church and She is worse off because of it.
I do believe God is changing that, restoring.church, bringing back what was lost to the centuries.
Dude this entire thing here is like ON POINT👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Like DANG this is perfect

Oh man I’ve been there too. I guess the painful reminder of missing out on something in the past can help push us towards making sure we don’t miss another opportunity in the future!!

The bible says it is an evil generation that seeks after a sign.
I it refers to sceptics and people that say they believe in God and Jesus but show no fruits of obedience. Herod was a perfect example of this, he wanted Jesus to show him a sign after hearing about him, Jesus didn't answer him. There are Jews that wanted Jesus to show them signs, he didn't show them signs. How weird is that, some of the people asked Jesus to do things for them and he refused. The evil generation is our and the future generations. Demons will leave a man and come back again with more demons, that is what happens in this generation. Think about what i said at first.

Why would we think about what you are saying when you are in a cult?

The context was a sign as proof or reason to believe. just the opposite of faith.

They are prosperity preachers getting loads of money off people aswell. And every time I have stated they are a cult he is not replying. He needs to prayerfully consider what I'm bringing to his attention.

Yup
Worldwide Church of God
required three tithes.
I'm arguing against just one obligation of law is robbing God of free giving hearts and robing His children of doing the blessing and provision themselves and being blessed in the process.

People only hear what the have ears to hear and that depends on where their hearts are at.
