You aren’t understanding my question......Love can be manifested in us through being persecuted....the Love of God.
Seems like who are shifting your position.....

Through persecution you can learn to Love and produce fruit.....which comes from God....100% agree with that...do you agree or disagree?

Yes manifested that is a very good word to use in this context

I have been hated on a non believer site.....and I couldn’t stand them.

But....through that persecution God manifested his Love into my heart for these members..it took 5 yrs for him to work in and through me.
That is my belief.......God wants me to witness for him on that site.....and since surrendering my will to God ....they flock to the threads I start about God and ask many questions.

All the Glory goes to God....it was his work in me and my surrender that got me to that place.

Every seed planted is worth it, sometimes it takes years for the plant to blossom but every act of love will be remembered

Yes you went from "producing" to "manifesting" very different words wouldn't you agree?
No I think they mean the same thing, when you grow a garden the you produce the fruits of your labor, in the same way the vegitables manifest from the seeds planted.
Unless I am mistaken it pretty much means the same thing.

Suffering also ties into a born again thinking...100%
I agree but can you explain how YOU feel about suffering.I didn’t feel like I wanted to suffer when I was born again although I will suffer because I am not trying to swim with the world and to the world, that’s not cool.

Some believe that they need to suffer to be worthy like crawling on your knees until they are scraped up and hurting type of thing.

Isaiah 48:4 Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass;
Isaiah 48:10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

Silver being compared in Psalms to Word of God, to His truth. This here is an example of the Bible that God sends also affliction and suffering when people aren't obedient and listening to His Word. He sends terrible afflictions until people fall down on their knees and become malleable to Him. It would have been better for these people to have obeyed, than suffering to be brought against them.

There are of course some saints like St Stephen or the apostles. Who are godly and obey, but some were called to face severe affliction. I would be careful against exalting affliction for its own sake. Because the affliction also is sent to the reprobates, and spiritual discerning must always be applied.

We should all be ready to die for Christ if required.
But the cause of argument here is implication of some, that more suffering = more or better fruit.
By this suffering only = fruit logic, apostle Paul would be esteemed better or more worthy or more fruitful than apostle John and other saints who died natural deaths, because he endured more torture. It is new nature in Christ and their faith growing fruit within them that proclaimed their worth before God, and not the amount of torture and suffering.

@Benadam , I find you a respectable brother in Christ in spite of our denominational differences, and I believe that you would not assert something like that.
I certainly don't believe in a martyrs only salvation. I think that kind of obedience is impossible by our own strength and requires cooperation with Grace and the Support of the Holy Spirit. The gifts like prophecy or knowledge, healing and such aren't fruits. The fruits are visible manifestations of a changed heart. The internal change is a gift the external expression that makes the gift visible is fruit.

Is forgiveness listed with the FRUIT of the Spirit?
Forgivness flows from faith. Faith is listed. But it is also a gift that produces fruit. Greater faith is made visible by greater works of forgiveness. Faith must be made visible by works. The works are fruit.

You are projecting a false intention to the penitent on the knees. Those followers want to suffer because the Lord they love suffered. If someone you love is hurting you can't go to a carnival. You want to be with them in their suffering. Its like that. To elevate status has nothing to do with it.
