No, it's not! Church is a communal word. It is never about a single individual. There are many images of the Church, including the community of God, the body of Christ, the mystical union in Christ, Etc.

You cannot be a solo person and call yourself a church. It is not possible in any language. In this poorly constructed doctrine, you have committed the egregious mistake of pulling out part of a verse, and not even quoting the whole verse!

"To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be his holy people, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ—their Lord and ours:" 1 Cor 1:2

This verse is directed to the church in Corinth, which AS A BODY are sanctified and called to be God's holy people. Further, this church walks spiritually with ALL the people everywhere, who call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

There is no "me, myself and I" in this opening greeting of the book. It is not addressed to a person, but God's holy people. So no, you are not walking by yourself, if indeed you are a Christian at all. And everyone in this forum, churches everywhere who call upon the name of the Lord, are saved! Not as you have been teaching/pretending, that you are the only saved person.

Further, you have to look at this verse, addressed to the Corinthian church and find out what is going on. In fact, the church in Corinth has a LOT of problems. From someone sleeping with his step mother.

"It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: A man is sleeping with his father’s wife." 1 Cor. 5:1.

There were other issues, too. So that church was being sanctified, still not sinless at all. Another mistake because you don't understand hermeneutics at all.

1. You are not a solitary Christian
2. You are not sanctified, especially on your own. You need to be a member of the body of Christ, or the church to claim that promise.
3. As I said before, learn how to correctly interpret or divide the Word of God.
4. Finally, the Word of God is NOT all about you! That is the definition of narcissism, if you didn't know!
Never said anything about a solo deal. I'm a member of the body of Christ. And therefore sanctified in Christ.

I believe most Christians worship the Lord in vain teaching for doctrine the commandments of men. You see it's not about us and how well we walk and try to be good or how much water we play with. It's about him. The walk is not about us. The end result is being strong in him and in the power of his might. Nobody I have communicated with on here can understand what I'm saying because they can only see themselves. They walk in their own dead nature and play word games with me. The kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
And that is therefore what your problem is you believe most of the church is formed from Vienna teaching when in fact they are not that is what makes you unable to hear and understand what others are saying you are so consumed with your own beliefs that you are deaf to whatever anyone else says do you think it’s not odd that you are more than willing to post your own beliefs and scriptures but if anyone else does and it goes against yours you completely disregard it? You say it is about him not us but how often do you claim to somehow know the truth while boasting your own insight all the while talking down everyone else as if you are the only one who knows the truth?
All you do is belittle others while raising yourself up you claim to teach of god but only elevate your own beliefs you refuse to accept anything that opposes your own views and you act like a teacher yes you are more than willing to speak but any good teacher knows you need to be able to listen and learn first and foremost which you have yet to learn and also your post has nothing to do with the scripture I confronted you with it gave a clear reason why baptism is not a mans doctrine but it seems when you had no way to discount it you once again evade it

Sadly he doesn't seem to be able to be reasoned with, in a way he is right about these things at least walking in the spirit and in his power but it is like having head knowledge yet not understanding it.

Yeah I have been trying as well even though I cannot see him being reasoned with I still try honestly I would have given up by normally but something just drives me.

There is no point in senseless arguing but if the seed can be planted then maybe that is why we keep trying. I think he has the right idea in a way but again it is like having head knowledge and not understanding that knowledge.
It must be nice to have hair to wash I have very little to be able to wash because it's so thin, but hey I save water bills since it takes no time at all to take a shower XD

Oh wow is that your hair? if so you have amazing hair. If your refering to the rince and repeat being towards Peter I try to get him to understand but I also know when to shake the dust off my feet and walk away, usually my responce to him is correcting him especially when he starts acting high and might and puts everyone else down in this thread I confronted him about baptism not even realizing it was the wrong thread and I suggested we go to the appropriate thread but I suppose it didn't matter to him it is his thread after all.

not even close. I don't know who owns that hair. and I would not live long enough to learn how to do that either

Peter is here to teach, not listen

I'm not listening to him.

1 Corinthians 1:2
Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, (That's me)
Never said anything about a solo deal. I'm a member of the body of Christ. And therefore sanctified in Christ.
In the first quote, you claim a Scripture reserved for the church. Your exact words are "That's me!" So, you as an individual are claiming a promise to the local church in Corinth. That's about as solo as it gets.

The second quote, suddenly you are claiming to be a member of a church body. That's good, I'm glad for you. BUT, that is not what you said in the first quote, it was all about PeterLag. (Or is that Peter Jens??).

You are claiming to be sinless, which no individual except Christ, ever claimed. You continually make theology into eimiology. Eimi in Greek stands for "I am" as opposed to theology, which stands for the study of God.

So either you need to show some humility, as part of being a member of the body of Christ, or continue with your solo career, promoting what a perfect saint you are, compared to the rest of us, as you said earlier. Can't have both![/QUOTE]

Yeah word games. Folks here play games with words. I say I'm righteous in Christ. They say I'm speaking solo and only for myself. I say I'm in the body of Christ and therefore righteous in him. They say no you first said only you were righteous as a solo. That's word games. People here play little games as they spin and twist and most of the time pulling my statements out of context. Yeah word games.

Then why did say after quoting that verse that is me instead of that is us? Angela nailed you on the head and you once again try to evade your mistake.
Your words do not line up with your daily conversation you have it made it quite clearHow you feel about the rest of the church and about yourself.

Instead of arguing against what others are saying try to actually listen search your heart without prejudice, instead of believing how insightful and wise you are humble yourself as if you know nothing. You will never be an effective teacher until you learn how to do this. A good teacher brings the fruits out of the students and also bears fruits from them if you cannot listen you cannot learn if you cannot learn you cannot teach.

Don't get me wrong I think you have the gift but because of your inability to listen and to learn and because you lack the humility you fail as a teacher, you cannot assume it is everyone else that has the propblem that in itself is the fruits of a false teacher.

Look at Jesus for instance, never once did he boast of himself or claim anything of any insight but instead always gave the credit to father he always said that he spoke what his father told him. Jesus was both the perfect example of a teacher and student and he brought fruits out of others that is the mark of a true teacher, how many fruits have you brought since you came on here? and if not much then are you sure we are the issue?

Again I ask you to humble yourself and search your heart but do not search your heart unless you are humble

If I teach from the beginning of Adam then there are some here who ask why I can't get to the point without writing a book. If I get right to the point like I did with you. They say I'm not providing enough data. There are some things I assume you already know. Like we are all sanctified in Christ. Someone else on here and maybe it was you said I'm not sanctified. I said I am. Of course all Christian are.

You don't have to write a book to provide enough data, plenty do it on here all the time.
The spirit speaks through us and his words have power ours do not, the scriptures are God breathed but can be easily twisted or cherry picked to say what we want however the spirit filled believer does not need to do this because the spirit speaks for them.

I do not know when you were direct with me and many times you refuse to answer what others ask you to answer, maybe you don't see it but you are evasive when confronted and play word games to try to deflect your folly.
You cannot use reason and logic when it comes to the things of God, at least not human reasoning and logic.
And while I do correct you and point out where you were lacking I don't believe your not sanctified just misguided. Which is why I always talk to you about the connection of a good teacher and student, can you honestly say you have taken up such a heart? or are you just the teacher?
