The harlot with the cup in her hand is THE SPIRIT OF ALL THOSE EMPIRES. She is not a phisical woman: You should know what that spirit is,it is all the desires of the heart.
the desire for the material,success,power, money,all the good things she could give if you follow her rules.and also worshipping things made by mens hands, like technology.
these are they that have the spirit of babylon, not forgetting all sorts of religions also.
We as christians are to come out of her; dont follow that spirit. follow meekness,be satisfied with what God has given you,and worship God,seek for the things that give eternal life. seek for that bread that comes from heaven, that the world can not receive, because the word has rejected that bread. This world that rejected God will be destroyed. this is armageddon. but before this happen. The 10kings will eat the flesh of this woman(babylon the great) these kings will collapse this system.(REV.17:16 )
16.And the 10 horns(kings)which thou sawest upon the beast(this empire now),these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate(bankrupt),and naked,and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire(wars)not the big war. This is the time when christ will come to stop the war or no flesh will be saved.

This is a very interesting subject,dont loose it; you dont have to believe, just follow up and ask questions like you are doing now. the rich are willing to spend millions of dollars, just to become president, they hunger for power(the spirit of babylon in them)
may be you have experience this at work; some will do anything to get on top.Willing to do bad acts, just to get what their heart desires. this is the spirit of babylon. The cup that is in her(woman) hand is how she makes the nations drunken with their desires.
But we good christians wont drink of that cup. we have the bread that comes from heaven,and we have peace,maybe not rich in goods, but rich in treasures stored in heaven. And when christ comes he will bring it with him, each will get according to his measure.

I told you what I think. that Jesus is God and not a creature or being as you know or define such things and that God is beyond human mind or capacity to fully understand so GOD confined himself to this so that we can understand HIM. He is YHWH He is Jesus He is DIVINE.
I ask what you believe to state your beliefs but by your other words and attack against the Church and against Born Again Christains. and statements of how "you Christains" can't answer your questions you have already distanted and declared yourself as not part of Christ Church.

Plus would you believe Paul instead of Jesus (just saying).
Paul is a true follower of Christ but Christ's Own word said that He was the "Almighty"
Jesus even says He is the Almighty (just a reminder)
Yes Paul is correct. and Jesus also asked Peter, who do you say that I am? and Peter answered and said you are the messiah, the son of God. He did not say that you are God. And Jesus said that the Father has revealed this to you Peter. (the holy spirit)
But many CG are condradicting that statement saying No Jesus is God.

Whoa.....concernment......i think you need some more studying.....Son of God and God the Son are the same thing...
Son of God is the divine nature and Son of man is human nature. notice Jesus said the Son of man must suffer meaning this human flesh will suffer....
Dont you realise that you are contradicting God, Jesus & Peter? Because if you ask Peter the question about Jesus he would say he is the son of God. But you say no, he is God. Can you see the difference? Now, would you believe Jesus, or your preacher? Up to you.

1Timothy 3:16 "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in to glory"............. Who was "God manifest in the flesh" if it wasn't Jesus ? Who and what "God" was preached unto the gentiles ? Who and what "God" was received up into glory ?
