It is so sad how some christians in America behave. I honestly do not understand how someone professing to be a follower of Jesus Christ can act with no compassion at all. It is all left wing right wing, how about the life that was lost a life that Jesus died to redeem, all life is precious in the eyes of our God, and there can be no justification for any form of killing and when something is wrong it is wrong.

If you know anything about Black Muslim Keith Ellison, you should know that he was associated with the Black Muslims for a long time, and he already had an evil agenda years ago (along with Louis Farrakhan).

He should not have been appointed to any responsible position. Definitely not AG for any state. In fact Muslims should not have been allowed to hold any government office, given the fact that Radical Islam is at war with America, and no Muslim opposes Radical Islam. Ellison is a woman beater and wants to apply Sharia Law to Americans.

He also said he was claustrophobic and had anxiety and he asked someone to then get in with him if they were going to force him to go in and stay in the car (paraphrasing). They could have one officer get into the car and just chat with him while the others were collecting the facts, that would have calmed him down but they chose to use force instead.
But he had just gotten out of his own car... How could he be claustrophobic? There was drugs in his system also. So that could have been the reason he was acting in an unusual manner. But I doubt the charges are going to be what people expected now that this video has come to light. The cop will still see time but probably not for murder. We'll see...

I don't think he's saying the cop didn't do anything wrong. Clearly he did. But seeing the whole video now changes the narrative. It's unlikely they will get him for murder. And there's nothing that shows he was being racist. He used an illegal hold and he will possibly do time for that. But to say Argicola has no compassion is an unfair comment. Simply looking at the facts of the case and saying the court of public opinion jumped too fast without having all the facts. This happens all the time. But the problem is people have been beaten, murdered businesses and buildings burned to the ground because of this. And when the verdict comes out it will happen all over again. smh

We don’t know what Chauvin wanted or not wanted, but his actions lead to the death of Mr Floyd. It’s not deniable.

No, I think Ellison over charged. Did Chauvin use an illegal hold? Yes. Should he see time for it? Yes. Did he intend to murder a man that day? No, I highly doubt it now that we see this video. And I doubt he will get a murder charge. Nor is he showing he is racist that I can see in the video. The fact that this video was hidden and was leaked shows people in high places knew it would change the narrative. Otherwise they wouldn't have hidden it.

What have we as christians done to lighten the burdens that these people are carrying? When they talked we stayed quiet, when they acted out of anger and frustration we condemned them. It would not have come this far had we spoken for the voiceless when they cried to be heard. I am not talking from a black or white perspective or I favour this or that political party, but I speak as a child of God. And like I said before when something is wrong it is wrong... This is such a hot button issue, it's hard to discuss without offending someone. I'm going to try to be careful where I step. The actual peaceful protests, at the beginning, I had no issue with. People have a right to protest. But when turned to looting, burning and murdering, that's when we started to see some people had an agenda. They have been doing this for over 60 nights now. Minority businesses, people had saved their lives to build, have been burned to the ground. Right now in a city I live close to BLM has made demands of local businesses and are threatening them if they don't obey. This has gotten way, way out of hand.And governors and mayors have not stopped this destruction.




What have we as christians done to lighten the burdens that these people are carrying? When they talked we stayed quiet, when they acted out of anger and frustration we condemned them. It would not have come this far had we spoken for the voiceless when they cried to be heard. I am not talking from a black or white perspective or I favour this or that political party, but I speak as a child of God. And like I said before when something is wrong it is wrong... A poll was taken just after Mr. Floyd lost his life and 97% of the country agreed what happened was wrong and the cop should serve time. But that was before the whole video came out. Wrong is wrong and bad cops should be weeded out. But I don't see where they are going to make murder stick in this situation. I may be wrong, but I doubt it. As far as acting out, if you are talking about riots, that has nothing to do with Floyds death. His family asked for it to stop and said Floyd would be grieved over it. If they were doing it in his name they would have stopped when his family made clear, more than once, he wouldn't have agreed. Something entirely different is happening when it comes to the riots and BLM.

Just a thought here. Anyone that thinks this wasn't murder, when it clearly was and was also assisted by fellow officers on site, have someone roughly the size of Chauvin press their knee in the side of your throat while you're on your stomach. And have their other knee on your back. Like they're on their knees spread far apart with their body weight mostly on your throat, while you lay on the floor underneath all that.

Can you breathe? Can you take a breath? Make sure that person on your neck and back remains there for eight minutes and forty-six seconds. That's how long Chauvin was on George Floyd's neck and back. And 2 minutes and fifty-three seconds of that time? Was after George Floyd stopped saying he couldn't breathe and stopped speaking entirely. THAT IS MURDER!

And for what purpose!? Is the ultimate question there because one man and all those cops, there was no excuse for that illegal hold. I repeat, ILLEGAL hold!
Floyd was subdued. If nothing else, they could have hobbled him and put him in the back of a car immediately after he resisted going into the car because he was claustrophobic.

That's because George Floyd was going into the back of a squad car! A squad car is not as open as ones own personal vehicle. It is a very closed environment. The Plexiglas and likely also bars panel behind the front drivers seat. The very close space between the back bench seat and that petition, is tight. A claustrophobic condition would respond to that environment. Whereas one's own car has a wide open windshield , the driver seat can be pushed as far back as needed, and the driver, Floyd in this case, has control of the window to allow it to open for air. None of that happens in the back of cop cars.


I want the officer who killed Floyd and those who were accomplice to go to prison. But if their jury is anything like those in the Amadou Diallo NY case, shot with 41 bullets in an apartment hallway, and those jurors included in their deliberations two questions. How safe will we be if we convict and send these cops to prison where they've been part of what sent prisoners there? And, what is the likelihood we won't be harassed by their police brothers and sisters after we convict, and the odds of their responding to our future if any 911 calls?
In which case, you'll likely be right. This case won't turn out the way it should! Prosecution of justice against a murderer and his accomplices.

It's amazing to me that anyone would be optimistic that cops who openly murdered a man on the street in broad daylight with witnesses capturing it on smart phones are looking forward to their being freed!
Oh, I know why. Because they don't live where those freed cops will patrol later.

Just saw it. Basically confirms what happened to him. It'll probably cause a second wave of rage.

The guy was disobeying and resisting from the get-go. He wouldn't put his hands on the steering wheel when the police repeatedly told him to. He was doing the "I can't breathe" thing when he was in the police car with no one on top of him. People on drugs can be very dangerous - he needed to be restrained.

The police can't afford to buy that 'cry baby act' from someone who's resisting them. Taking full control over someone who's behaving that way is first priority.

Believe it or not that is news for some. Like the domestic terrorists in BLM.

The onus is on those police at the scene with George Floyd to comport themselves according to regulations. Pinning a mans respiratory system, especially the throat, for nearly nine minutes is against regulation. Not only is it assault it is murder!
And the idea that the M word is wrong here is absurd!

The DA used the word and brought the charges of first degree against Chauvin. Murder indicates intent. Compressing a mans throat for nearly nine minutes so he can't breathe is clearly intent to stop said man from breathing.

The cops did nothing wrong? This latest video changes the narrative? Oh, OK. Where in this new video does the narrative change to, Chauvin had every right to suffocate George?

I am. But it depends on the jury. If you read Minnesota law as is defined under the first degree murder statute, murder defined first, it becomes clear the DA had cause to up the charge from third to first degree.


Imagine someone pressing half or more of their bodyweight on your throat with their knee for nearly nine minutes. While you're on your stomach on blacktop.

The same lawful procedure as described in their manual and as is utilized by other police. I've watched CopCam before it was taken off the air to placate the domestic terrorists that jumped into action shortly after this event.
The suspect can be put on the ground, tasered if necessary, and then hobbled. I've seen it happen on that show numerous times. No resistance to getting in the car then. And the suspect lives.

Sure I am. You are too. Everyone in any one of these threads is. It is called an opinion.
Just as the DA made a judgment call under color of law when reviewing all the evidence. Including the same videos we've seen. And God only knows if there is more.
