I just view it this way...
Jesus begins, finishes and completes the work of faith in us.
He keeps us by his power through the above faith and he will lose nothing, but raise it up the last day.
The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable....salvation is one such gift.
One thing that always astounds me.....GOD IS SO FAITHFUL that EVEN THE CALL to salvation is IRREVOCABLE.
Imagine that!

Church age?
Was not Israel called the church of the firstborn in the wilderness?
a. John prepared the material
b. Jesus called them out
c. Jesus identifies his apostles/disciples as THE CHURCH no less than two times in the present tense
And regardless.....THE GIFTS (plural) and Calling (Singular) of GOD are IRREVOCABLE!
It is not difficult to use deductive reasoning on the above truths and embrace the truth of what I said!

The call to salvation is the hearing of the Gospel . The Gifts such as 'eternal life are irrevocable. ' The Call to salvation 'is not an imward effectual irresistible call . Thats calvinism .
I've said all along we are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. Thats true OSAS and not the P in Tulip
There are 2 callings: Gospel and vocational, not inward or outward or effectual or ineffectual, etc… (2 Thess. 2:14; Eph. 4:1; Rom. 8:28; 2 Cor. 5:20)

I did not see "irresistible" anything in that post.
I have been reading @dcontroversal posts on here for a while and he for sure does not teach irresistible grace.
I think you need to slow down and withhold judgement and get to know who people are and what they teach.
