Oh no, another LABEL! I never heard of "Anabaptist" apparently it's been around for a long time. Ughhhhh....

Can't we all just say, I am of CHRIST - One Spirit, One Baptism, One Body, One God, One Savior, One Lord, One King.......WHY so many different labels that serve only to divide us?????? :(

I am now of Christ ALONE. Amen!(y)
Same reason it doesnt say "Food" at the store. The labels say specifically what food.

Some denominations are completely different faiths all together, take for example some small independent baptist church, then compare it to some massive church building like the Roman Catholic Church of so and so city. Its a completely different faith altogether.

the actual monotheism of the Torah recognizes:

the LORD God
The Angel of the LORD
the Spirit of the LORD

and variously describe each separately and equally as God, while affirming that God is one & there is no other.
I liked it cause I did. Angel of the LORD is called God? Where is this?

if you do not believe that I AM you will die in your sins.
(John 8:24)
“I told you that you would die in your sins, for you will die in your sins unless you believe that I am he.”

(NRSV)

”That’s why I told you that you will die here as a result of your sins. Unless you believe I am who I have said I am, your sins will lead to your death.”

(VOICE)

“That is why I said that you will die in your sins. If you do not believe that I am the Christ, you will die in your sins.”

(NLV)

”but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.”

(John 20:31)

There is no God besides the God of Jesus, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Exodus 3 for example. It is The Angel of the LORD who appears and says He is I AM.
Also in Judges prophesying the birth of Samson, and speaking to Gideon - in both cases they are visited by The Angel of the LORD ((not just 'an angel')) and they fear they will die because they understand it to mean they have seen God.

John 8:24 - [from Blue Letter Bible... notice the "He" is in italics ;) ... and no Strong's numbering supplied with it ;) ]

"I said G2036 therefore G3767 unto you, G5213 that G3754 ye shall die G599 in G1722 your G5216 sins: G266 for G1063 if G3362 ➔ ye believe G4100 not G3362 that G3754 I G1473 am G1510 he, ye shall die G599 in G1722 your G5216 sins. G266 "

[and from Bible Hub... notice the "He" is "bracketed" ;) beside the "am" word]

Thus, it is correct to say that it reads:

"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins."

What a nice way to prove the Trinity from the OT. Angel = messenger in Hebrew right?

'he' is not in the text.

For a person who seems to think highly of textual criticism, it's odd that you would cherry-pick non literal paraphrases in order to avoid admitting that Christ refers to Himself with the Ineffable Name.

The particular phrase in the Bible, "angel of the Lord" does not refer to a created being...
Per example:

Judges 2:1 And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said,
I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers;
and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.

How can a created being claim a divine covenant as its own?.... a mere created ambassador of God cannot say "MY covenant".
(Except this ambassador is God also... as in: )

Jesus: "The one who has seen Me has seen the Father"
"(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)"
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory...

GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH... how much more plain should it be said so people will believe?

”He” is provided by the translators.

Christ doesn’t refer to himself with the Ineffable name. You’ve been influenced by the bias of the translators who capitalize the phrase; ego eimi = “I am,“ not “I AM”. See the difference?

Look at all of the “I am” statements made by Jesus in John.

Scripture testifies that Christ is "above all" -- who is He then?
”All“ does not include God.

Scripture testifies that God is above Christ. Who is God then?

Yahweh. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You capitalized the phrase. Strong’s, which you provided, didn’t.

“I am [he]“ is correct.
