You are "off" because of listening too much of the erroroneous doctrines of the Swaggarts. It has been my hope by asking you questions with properly posting contextual passages that you might reconsider your position in following them by repenting to exclusively follow after The Lord Jesus Christ and His chosen Apostles with prayerful reading of The Holy Bible without the "lens" of the Swaggarts.

Have you noticed the red & black color scheme used at the Swaggarts' Church? Did you also notice the same colors are used on the set of Francis & Friends? I am going to tell you straight up that those are the Satanists' choice of colors. I just did a quick search just to see if I could find some simple information to share as tangible evidence for you, and a lot of sites pop up, including those of the enemy's camp.

This link is per the
search results:

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Satanic+red+&+black+colors&atb=v123-2__&ia=web

Be sure to take a moment to examine the pictures of how the red and black, and yes white colors are used, as you paruse the info. I forgot to consider mentioning the "white" color used on the crosses that are on the floor, in the Swaggarts' Church, pointing upward to the octagon stage. There is a reason "why" the Swaggarts' chose those colors along with Jimmy's use of the Satanic hand signs.

There's an expression that a Brother and I use upon discovery of false teachers, as there's no shortage of them, and that is "Run Forest Run!"

Is it possible for a Christian to lose his salvation? Under what conditions, if any, can one's salvation be forfeited? Millions of Christians live their lives as close to these questions as they can, gambling on the goodness and mercy of God to save them, continually, in their sin rather than from it. Millions more spend their faith on works attempting to offer a better sacrifice, but in reality bypass the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
If angels that sinned were not spared, what makes you think that if you continue sinning that you'll be spared? Any man or woman that wishes to remain on the path to deliverance must always obey the commands of God, otherwise deliverance can indeed be revoked.

Are you saying that Christians should keep and obey the Ten Commandments to be saved?

Not just the ten commandments, but also the entire Torah. For Yeshuah has declared, "I did not come to abolish the Torah".

Not just the ten commandments, but also the entire Torah. For Yeshuah has declared, "I did not come to abolish the Torah".
Who is Yeshua? Don't you realize that is a name that is made up to preach and teach "another Jesus" per 2Corinthians 11? The Lord, God the Son's name is JESUS, not Yeshua.

Per your teaching of the necessity of keeping the law to be saved is not something new; Apostle Paul rebuked that heresy in this passage:

Rom 3:1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
Rom 3:2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
Rom 3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Rom 3:5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
Rom 3:6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
Rom 3:7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
**Rom 3:8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
Rom 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Rom 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Rom 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Rom 3:13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
Rom 3:14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
Rom 3:15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
Rom 3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
Rom 3:17 And the way of peace have they not known:
Rom 3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Rom 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Rom 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Rom 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Rom 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Rom 3:29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
Rom 3:30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

** NOTE TO FELLOW BELIEVERS: Romans 3:8 with the context of this passage REFUTES AND REBUKES the slanders of those that deny Eternal Security/The FREE GIFT of Eternal Life/O.S.A.S. for the Born Again Christians.

This is what James had to say to the Twelve Tribes scattared abroad concerning the law:

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

James 2:11
For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

There is no "J" in Hebrew for "Jesus" to be his true name. Yeshuah is his true and original and Hebrew name. "You shall not murder" is as binding today as it was 3,000 years ago.

It would be best to present and to discuss the full context of 1John, including that of chapter 5.

But, in the meantime, I hope you don't mind, but I have a few questions that I would request for you to please answer each one. Per 1John 5:3; are you confusing "his commandments" with the Law, better known as the Ten Commandments?

Also per verse 4; What does it mean to be "born of God"? And how does that relate to overcoming the world? What is faith, and what is the purpose of faith? Where does faith come from? Is faith something that you muster up by doing works to stay saved? Furthermore, are you the Author and Finisher of your own faith?
No, I don't confuse His commandments with the torah and its various statutes. It is the true law, the law that brings freedom. It forms the basis of the torah so much can be drawn from there but the law is a law that was hidden until Jesus was revealed.

As for faith, it is the congruence between actions and belief. The implicit trust in Jesus that when called to act by Him trusts that it is the correct action and so does. It builds as works are done in seeing that the trust is well founded, but the works are not done as maintenance but part and parcel to the faith. The author and finisher of the faith is Jesus, but it is not a one-sided affair but a joining with Him in His suffering and death so that we may be joined in His resurrection.

Are you also a follower of the Swaggarts?

If you truly love Jesus, I would like to encourage you to prayerfully read 2Corinthians 11

There is a reason why I share the information that I post. This is not easy come random thought off of the cusp of my head out of the air. These are issues and subjects that have been thoroughly researched, as there are many false prophets and many false teachers that masquerade as Christians, true to The Lord's holy words in Matthew 7:13-27 as well as Apostle Peter wrote in 2Peter 2-3, and Apostle John in 1John 2, 4; 2John; 3John

The Lord and His chosen Apostles have given us lots of warnings. No one will be without excuse when it comes time to face their Maker.

Below are a couple of excellent videos produced by discerning Christians to expose the Swaggarts. Something also worth noting is that Jimmy Swaggart also has a Martial Arts Class on Campus, even in despite of sober warning and rebuke from Jim Nations. Furthermore, Gabe Swaggart incorporated Yin Yang into one of his sermons. A simple short per martial arts is that just like Yoga, (both are practices of divination) it is for the inviting in of devils for possession, and the Yin Yang, while there are a variety of Occult definitions, is based upon the sharing of the darkness with the light, and is 100% complete antichrist in defiance of 2Corinthians 6:14-18; Also read Acts 15:19-29 and Deuteronomy 18:9-14

Scripture states, “For God so loved the world“ but you’re hesitant on that foundational Truth. That’s pretty sad.

As far as labels go, Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Put any label you want on that, I couldn’t care less.
I am not hesitant on that and one single verse of Scripture does NOT represent a "foundational Truth". It takes the Whole council of God.

I will be glad to discuss John 3:16 to it's fullest, if you answer a few questions.

1.) In what way did God so love the world?
2.) Did God love the fallen, sinful world?
3.) Did He love the world as it was originally created?
4.) Did God love the world because He knew what it would become in His eternal plan?
5.) What does "kosmon" (world), used here in the greek really mean?
6.) Does "world" mean everyone without exception?
7.) Is "world" sometimes limited in it's scope in Scriptures?

As to the last question, a few verses to consider:

(Isa 13:11) And I will punish the world for their evil........ (is God punishing ALL the people of the world?)
(John 1:10) He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world knew him not. (So did no one in the world know him? What about John the baptist and others?)
(John 1:29) On the morrow he seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world! (Did Jesus take away the sin of every person. Is the whole world now without sin?)
(John 12:19) The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Behold how ye prevail nothing: lo, the world is gone after him. (Did the whole world go after him or was it the people in the localized area?)
(John 17:9) I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me; for they are thine: (Finally, our Lord prayed for His own. "World" here cannot be ALL inclusive, as there were some standing with Him that He was praying for.)

Just want to see where you are, as well as any others who might be watching this post.

We are on the same page about yoga. Most don't understand that the movements and vocals of yoga are spiritual invocations.
I'm an artist and I don't want any color to be attached to evil. Don't want fear attached to them in any way. Fear is power to the evil spirits. But in the context of religious expression it's interesting to note.
I'll be sure and read the scriptures you recommended.

Faith and Grace are gifts from God. If you are not aware, Jesus Christ is the Author and Finisher of our faith. That is made clear in Hebrews 12:9. Furthermore, Jesus Christ is also the Author of eternal salvation. That is made clear in Hebrew 5:9 Also read John 1:12-13

We received the free gift of eternal life, at the very moment of our conversion, when we are born again by the Spirit of God. That is also made clear in John 3:15 John 6:54, 68, John 10:28, John 17:2 Acts 13:48, Romans 5:21, Romans 6:23, Titus 3:7, 1John 1:2, 1John 2:25, and 1John 5:11-13, 20

Remember Romans 10:16-17 It all comes down to believing Jesus Christ and the Gospel as it is written.

In this context I think he means not praying for the world system. Not raying for them to be given strength to carry out their mission of being apposed to god

Remember Romans 10:16-17 It all comes down to believing Jesus Christ and the Gospel as it is written.
They are indeed gifts, but what you're presenting is a half-truth based on reformation readings of the Bible that watered down the gospel into simple belief. Faith is not simply belief but a heartfelt conviction which is why James could say faith without works is dead and still be in accord with Paul who said salvation is by faith.

It is clear from verses like Matthew 11:21-24, Luke 12:48, Romans 2:6, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 20:12 and multiple others that judgment is by works. The just live by faith because faith produces works. The gospel is that God does not hold our sins against us and has provided atonement, but reconciliation requires action on both ends. God has done His part and each individual who desires that reconciliation must do theirs as well.

The gospel preached in reformation churches is often half a gospel and its evidenced by the fact that there are movements of people who write off everything but Paul's writings as not applicable to the church. That such a gospel makes trouble of the majority of the Bible witnesses to its falsehood.

I have neither presented a half-truth, nor a watered down gospel; Nor have I shared anything from any so-called Reformational Church. You either hear the words of God or you don't. It's as simple as that. You are either saved or unsaved; There is no in between. You either have eternal life or you abide still in death; Again, there is no inbetween. You either belong to Jesus Christ WHO PURCHASED HIS CHURCH WITH HIS OWN BLOOD, or you don't! Jesus Christ is Lord God Almighty in the flesh! Not some incable weak god-in-a-box of your own choosing.

I would agree with all of that, and while you didn't present your picture of the gospel the messaging in your posts about faith seems highly reminiscent of the post-reformation protestant church view of the gospel.

If your gospel doesn't have room for works then it is a half-gospel only speaking of the liberty in Christ. In order to present the full picture we must present the awful holiness of God intact. I do not know where you fall on that but many on here err to the side of liberality which veers towards lawlessness.
