Permaculturalists do actually believe the energy will run out (oil crisis) etc. Thats why they prepare.
But there are alternative sources of energy.
I did a PDC the onky caveat was a lot of permies were people who already had land. But most people dont own any and have to make do with what they are given, which can be very poor or degraded land. Ive got clay. Its hard work and you have to keep working with it to get it fertile again.
quick fix fertilisers dont work in the long run.
The thing is its hard to go off grid when you are tied to the grid and alternatives are more expenisve than the status quo. You have to basically retrofit everything.

Our decisions on exactly how the end days will by worked out by the Lord is a copy of the decisions the Pharisees made about the coming of the messiah. God has never in all his prophecies told just how He is working out the prophecy, and God hasn't told us about how He is working out the last days.
With all these ideas of how God will do it, I hope we aren't getting it as wrong as the Pharisees did.

Gold is not fiat currency. The value of gold is based on weight. 1 ozt of gold today is the same 1 ozt of gold tomorrow. Whereas the value of paper money is merely an illusion. One piece of paper says $5, another sames $10. It is imaginary money. Today it has one value, and tomorrow another. Fiat currency.
the fact that gold's value is declared by discrete units doesn't make it any less fiat currency.
you cannot eat it. it does not keep you warm. it does not provide shelter. it is exchanged for actual useful things by an agreed upon measure whereby it represents actual wealth. "fiat"

It is not fiat, because 1 ozt of gold is a true measure of gold. Like 1 lbs of rice. Or 2 lbs of corn. These are true values of weights of things. That is why gold money is stable, because its value is true. Whereas the value of paper money and fiat currency is merely an illusion, an imaginary number assigned to a piece of paper. Which is a value the banks can control, to their advantage, to cause debt. It is a ponzi scheme. All fiat currencies eventually collapse. As Voltaire wrote, "paper money eventually reaches its true intrinsic value, zero". That is the very reason Venezuela is hungry, because of the collapse of a worthless form of money, fiat currency.

It has nothing to do with "usefulness". The mere numbers in your bank account are even less useful than gold. "Usefulness" is not what makes money money. Money is something everyone agrees is valuable, and uses to buy and sell. Gold is money, and has been used as money for thousands of years. Whose value was based on weight. People bought and sold according to the weight of gold. That is why the Torah commands righteous weights and balances, to weigh gold accurately, to buy and well with. Whereas the value of the money today is merely an illusion. Its what impoverishes the world. Its why the founding fathers of the USA were completely against it. I'm not preaching anything new. Just only preaching to pigs who have absolutely no understanding.

If paper money was the mark of the beast then that would mean anyone who has used it even once is going to hell once you take the mark there is no turning back, plus they are trying to get rid of paper and coin and make it digital why would they take away the mark?
All sins will be forgiven man, including using false weights, so long as someone gets rid of the false weight. Getting rid of fiat currency is a test of belief and obedience, because it is very difficult to live outside the financial system, but not impossible. Digital money is a form of fiat currency, just as paper money is another form of fiat currency. That is why "paper money AND fiat currency" are the mark of the beast. Two distinct things. Just as the prophecy mentions two distinct things regarding the mark of the beast, the name, and the number of the name.

Well, God have me what l believe is a different answer to all of this.
Come to think of it, there are dozens of members here who claim the same as what l just said...yet, they are multiple claims?

The mark is coming and is even here now, you think it an accident they want to turn cash currency to digital? the fact that even now they are getting more and more people to take an rfid chip and they use ink tatoos as well you can even scan the ink tatoo to not just buy and sell but bring up your medical hostory as well as even open your front door.
The mark is coming they are getting peop[le ready for it but when it comes it will be either take it or die I don't see that with money we have now do you?
