( Post will include info on American education but will include ideas that may help other systems around the world. )

Most Christians know that our public education and government funded systems are a threat to America values and the Christian worldview. So why advocate to return to normal? Of course, we must realize it cannot change over night and needs a gradual transition so that the parents who do not have any other options but public school will have school choice.

Pew Research from 2017 found the US ranked 38th in math and 24th in science when compared against 71 other countries. Only two decades prior, the US's education system ranked 6th internationally.

As you can see the US isn't winning any education rewards on the basics. And the the US out spends most countries around the world on education.

In 2017, the US spent $12,800 per student on public education, which is the second-highest amount spent per student of any country in the world. But when it comes to total spending, the comparison isn't remotely close. According to data from the National Center for Education Statistics, the US spent over $700 billion on public education in 2017 alone.

So why are we wasting our tax dollars on a failing system that also produces Anti Americans?

We should be taking this opportunity to support school choice and the restructure of public education.

if you dont want to pay your taxes, then leave the country and or squrriel them away in switzerland.
singapore possibly has a high score because its a very small country and very technologically advanced. Its just one city and probably had the most particpants in the PISA . I went to Uni there for a semester.

Its really got nothing to do with americans, or american values, or christian worldviews.

science, maths and reading are skills that are taught in school, and got nothing to do with doctrine. singaporeans are mutlicultural and are a mixture of christian, buddhist, hindu and muslim faiths.

education in many countries is a mixure of public and private education, there is nothing intirnisically wrong with public education, any education is better than NO education at all. People are just snobs about public education thats all.

would you rather children just worked from 5 years old to earn a living or begged.

Indoctrinate definition is - to imbue with a usually partisan or sectarian opinion, point of view, or principle.

Which is evident and proven within our public schools or higher education.

It is Biblical to pay taxes. I have no problem paying taxes for logical, economical, defense, and prosperous reasons. I do have a problem when my money is wasted, ineffective and used to morally corrupt the children.

It has to do with America because my post is directed at American education.

Education topics do promote certain doctrines that promote different worldviews. For example, in science which worldview does evolution promote?

In history class where Christianity in history is seen as evil then which worldview is that promoting? In math we have seen the aftermath of common core.

Common Core has facilitated progressive indoctrination by smothering independent thought and stifling intellectual development. It effectively trains students not to think by emphasizing skills over content, process over product, and relative standards over absolute ones. Reaching the right answer means little in Common Core math. In such a system, thinking is only the articulation of opinion; it has no bearing on truth. This means that people don’t really need to think critically and understand why they believe what they do. They just need to have the right viewpoint and force others to conform like they’ve been forced to conform.

In reading if they pick only certain books that support a worldview then how is that not within indoctrination?

Didn't say anything was wrong with general public education. Something is definitely wrong with the US system. Any education is better than no education? Idk because if your education is teaching you to think and act like Hitler's Nazi regime then what good has it done?

Again has nothing to do with my point being made. But adding work for children to a limited degree may not be a bad idea on top of education. Many children once worked the farm and only had education a few months out the year. These same people probably wrote more journals than most authors, read more books than many of us modern intellectuals, and many knew the Bible by memory. Of course they didn't have txt, the many modern distractions, and reading was major source of entertainment.
