And what about all the good things that the left generally pushes? Often it seems the right wants to save babies up until they are born. The right also seems way more in syncs with the mindsets of the confederacy. Which is probably why those states typically have very similar maps. Both sides are far from being a force of a “kingdom of light”.

It was a Republican Supreme Court that approved SAME-SEX MARRIAGE (with a controlled Republican House and Senate).

Roe v. Wade Approved By Republican Appointees. A 1973 Supreme Court decision, Roe v. Wade, legalized abortion by a 7-2 vote. Six of the seven justices in the majority were Republican. This also includes same sex marriage - Republicans legalized same sex marriage .
Many Republicans today are RINO’s. It’s not about Republican, it’s about conservatism, which is much more closely aligned with godliness than anything Democrat/liberal.

People should know by now that *sock puppet* is the last epithet that could be applied to me.

What you should do now -- for your own spiritual well-being -- is carefully examine the policies and programs being pushed by the extreme Leftist Democrats at this point and see if any of them can be reconciled with Christian beliefs.

You could start with the murder of millions of babies -- genocide -- and then go from there to all the anarchy and lawlessness being promoted by these evildoers. So a vote for Democrats is A VOTE FOR THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS.
Do you realize what you have just stated? What politician is reconciled with the beliefs given us by the Word? Tell me please? I have seen them swear on Bibles, which is completely against the teaching of our Lord, Jessus. I have seen the even carry Bibles, some gos so far as to carry more than one.
They do carry them at least.
Please do not put Herod or Caesar into the arena of the Word, neither belong there.

The mindset of the confederacy as far as state rights, not slavery, then yes you’d be correct. And as far as saving babies up until the moment they are born, there’s nothing wrong with promoting parents to be self-reliant.

Yet we keep voting for them on the basis of these issues.

So why hasn't R party congress, white house enacted a very simple measure, legally define "life" at conception? Define "marriage" as man & woman?

So easy to do, but they won't. What will be the carrot they hang on their stick to buy Christian votes with, if they ever follow through on their promise? They won't have one anymore.
So as long as the naive little sheep keep following them, they never will. And they will distract you by filling you with hate for your neighbors - that's easy enough to do, and very good for them. Angry people go vote, and advertise for them without being paid. You go vote against someone, not for someone. And you justify yourself by saying 'abortion' but for decades they have had every opportunity to end it, and they never have.

How is this not plain to see??

I am not a democrat. I am not a republican. I am just sick of watching the church being used and deceived by these worldly parties.

Oh boy, the Washington Post. 😆
Shoot the messenger huh.
You've got what you asked for, now you find a reason to deny it without even looking at the mountains of evidence.

Says someone who supports candidates who support abortion, parasitic behavior for votes, burning down cities, removing God from the social conscience, etc...
Please don't lie.

It is unbecoming to the name of Christ that you bear.

I have never said I support any of that; I have consistently said I am not part of either party, both are wicked. You are slandering me. That is the fruit of carnal partisanship.

Can a Christian vote for the Democrat Party who support abortions, homosexual marriages, and socialism? Many televangelists Pastors ask the question, "How can you call yourself a Christian and vote Democrat"?

Depending on the variety of issues at hand, can a Christian vote for different parties or candidates?
I really find it difficult in your situation. Democratic Party is supporting the world.
Republican Party supporty biblical, but have a Person I would count for the democratic Party.

I have said nothing about the religion of politicians. We are discussing THE PLATFORMS of those who will be represented. So examine their platforms to see if they are doing the bidding of Satan.

The Democrats in America had no choice except to become Marxist-Anarchists. Which translates to just four words : THE DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA.

Obviously, since they are expert liars, their DNC convention is not presenting this agenda to the gullible or low-information voters (if they have been Democrats in the past). Quite the opposite. They are pretending to be virtuous and godly when in fact they are haters and ungodly.

Many Republicans today are RINO’s. It’s not about Republican, it’s about conservatism, which is much more closely aligned with godliness than anything Democrat/liberal.
Let me repeat:
It was a Republican Supreme Court that approved SAME-SEX MARRIAGE (with a controlled Republican House and Senate).

Roe v. Wade Approved By Republican Appointees. A 1973 Supreme Court decision, Roe v. Wade, legalized abortion by a 7-2 vote. Six of the seven justices in the majority were Republican. This also includes same sex marriage - Republicans legalized same sex marriage.

The same conservatives who approve these abominations against God wants you to vote for them while condemning others. There are many self righteous hypocrites using religion, who attempt to take parts here and there and mix them with their own opinion to create some standard to "un-save" others, while they do not keep the standard they would teach and lay upon others. This is not "loving others as yourself" this is loving yourself and allowing mercy for yourself, while attempting to condemn others by a standard you do not keep. When did the truth change because of who’s saying it, instead of what Jesus said? There is not a name under heaven who has the authority to change truth. Wake up people of God! I pray that the Lord take us back to when we first believed. When we were consumed by His love, and full of joy unspeakable!

Romans 1:32 NLT - They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.

Revelation 18:23 says it like this, "Satan has deceived and led astray every nation by sorcery and black magic."

Their Conscience.

And what do Televangelist have to do with it. LOL  Can we vote some of them out?

If I recall they are not supposed to be using their nonprofit tax status to persuade their audience to vote for a particular candidate.

The non-profit status was a major snare for churches and preachers. Not one of them should have accepted that. Few rejected it. All should have simply paid their taxes and maintained their freedom of speech (as well as Christian freedom from government control).

What good things? Socialism/Progressivism/Marxism/Communist/Fascism are all different faces of this hydra-headed monster. Their fundamental principles are (1) total State control, (2) total loss of freedoms and (3) the country's wealth in the hands of a few corrupt bosses at the top. Have you observed what Pelosi and Schumer have been up to?

Personally, I vote according to my faith and beliefs................. It does not matter the Party of the Candidate.............there are Democrats and Republicans who DO NOT support those "hot button" issues you mentioned, and there are BOTH Democrats and Republicans who do support said issues.

I look closely at the person. Do some research, and read as much as I can about them, especially anything they wrote, or spoke.

I have not voted for the President in the last 4 cycles.............. 2nd Bush Term, both Obama Terms and Trumps current Term, simply because neither of the Candidates in each of those Election Cycles were (IMO) Christian, or held to Christian Values.......

I vote the "Under Ticket." It's much easier to find Candidates of the Christian Faith.
I think the problem with that is, a good person who holds Christian values and is a Democrat running for office, should they win, will find they that minority good person Christian will be made to go along with the Dem's to get along. They're , as a freshman, new to the office, will be outnumbered.

If they don't go along to get along, they'll have no allies in the party. And their ideas to better America and any subsequent bills they may choose to sponsor to that end, will go nowhere.

I am not a citizen of the USA, but I would absolutely be a democrat if I was, and I am still a Christian.
There are things in both parties I don’t agree with, and I am not all against Republicans. But from an outsider, I think you have a very dangerous way of thinking when it comes to politics.
To say that you cannot be a christian if you are a Democrat because this and that is just strange. Can you be a Christian if you vote for a man who acts like a narcissistic child, calling people names trying to hurt people and tearing children away from their mothers? Apparently...
Even if I was a republican, this year I would vote Democrat. You as republicans deserve much better.

What is important to interject here I think is that it is not we who elect the President. Though our votes are vital to that end. Rather, it is the Electoral College that elects the president through tally of electoral votes. And after that Congress has to approve their tally of votes ascribed to the winner of the office.

I use to vote Independent. Then as things started to go Left in America I switched to the Republican party.

I don't think a conscientious Christian can choose to vote for the Democrats that have demonstrated their vision for America these last four years especially. Any body of elected representatives of the people that commit in total to the soft coup they have against a dully elected President, should not only never be re-elected, they should be prosecuted for the coup efforts. As well as in the course of that, Sedition!

When a party shows you their vision for America is one that insures Authoritarianism under Democratic values, while eroding Christian liberties as they uphold the rights of our enemies, believe what they're telling you. They're no longer for America. They're for destroying this Constitutional Democratic Republic.

If we vote Democrat as Christians given what the Democrats that crave our votes have shown us these last four years, not only do we deserve everything that gets us should they sweep in November, taking the Oval office, and majority in the Congress, but we've also become complicit in conceding we chose a party that chooses to eliminate the very cornerstones of America and her founding; Christian Godly principles.

A Christian that votes Democrat may be able to live with themselves. But they'll have to explain to their children why they chose to give their future, and the trust of that parent, to a party that shows itself to be the party and slave of the enemy of God.

Save America again! Vote Republican across the board.
Russia won't make me vote for Trump.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will!
