Yeah, he was responding to an ongoing discussion. At first he said the elect believe, which I pressed him by stating that there is something that man must do in his salvation(believing).
This is the critical point with monergism, it must deny man even believes the gospel and attribute the believing to God and God alone. Yet it must also affirm that men cannot be saved without believing. So the only real conclusion is that no one can be saved because only God is capable of believing.

I was saved without ever reading a bible,....God brought me to belief,....again.........God.......brought.......me.......to......believe ....chosen,drawn and saved by God....then off I toddled and bought a bible....I was in the bible....born again......you know the rest about the Lord opening scripture up to me.

Whether you read a Bible or not is irrelevant, the question was did you believe the gospel. You stated you never believed until you were saved, so the question is are you saying that believing the gospel was an accessory to your salvation? That it was unnecessary and you were saved prior to the gospel?

The question is....you don't understand my answer......you are trying to understand my saving by your own human understanding ....hence all your questions...lol.

The false humility that is necessary for accepting such gross distortions and cognitive dissonance in order to avoid any sort of responsibility for yourself is absolutely abhorent.
What you've presented is gross heresy, a salvation apart from the gospel by making belief something subsequent to salvation. In fact you've rendered the gospel moot and called God a liar for saying that the only means for salvation is believing the gospel, after all you didn't have to believe in order to be saved.

You have completely twisted my words to mean,exactly what you want them to mean....you have done that,because you don't understand my saving.
God brought me to believe in Him....I did not bring myself....gross heresy it is NOT....my saving is scriptural .....only you for the life of you,don't understand it,.....I was chosen,drawn and saved by God.....
Unfortunately your post is twisted and distorted about my salvation.

I have been trying for weeks to show the biblical scope of salvation, how faith is initiated by the wors of God, that men MUST BELIEVE THE GOSPEL and confess said belief etc....only to be accused of bullying, picking on her, not understanding etc......her words since she has been on here are clear....She opposed me from day one, then liked me and said both EG and I were teachers of the word and then the Calvinists got a hold of her, distorted her view and the rest is history....I honestly believe Calvinist dogma is like the Hypergrace spoken of by the mods and should be suppressed and or banned. It is divisive, it is false, it devalues the gospel, it devalues man, it makes God into a hater of men, it makes God into an entity that shows favoritism and only picks a few and makes the rest for hell even though Hell was made for the devil anf his angels NOT MEN.

How is understanding "I did not believe until I was saved" to mean that your salvation preceded your belief in the gospel twisting of your words?
Whether you were chosen and drawn is secondary, and your statement "I was chosen, drawn, and saved" is missing the crucial element of belief.
