The entire world is become likened unto Sodom and Gomorrah. Laws in nearly every nation has redefined marriage. If you read your Bible, you would know that this is all prophecy in progressive fulfillment as there is a great falling away from the faith. In the meantime, Christians are to preach the Word. Not be swallowed up with the affairs of the world. You would understand that too, if you read your Bible. As I wrote in my previous post, The Lord is still saving sinners, including homosexuals. The Lord will also save sinners during the Great tribulation, and this will also include homosexuals. What you are doing is elevating one sin above all of the others, and have not presented anything edifying toward helping anyone that is struggling with the sin, nor anything that is godly about reaching the lost with the Gospel for salvation with the short time that we have. In the meantime, the world is on a head collision course of being completely taken captive.

Your post was carnal and inappropriate. No one deserves to be cheated on, and nowhere in the Bible is it advocated for the reason you outlined. There is no justification for what you wrote.

You did well with the first three sentences in response the passage of John 1:8-11, but you derailed with your last remark. Christians are to preach repentance, not vengeance.
Wow. You can't even bring yourself to say that crime should be punished??!! You don't really think that do you?

Christians love sodomites because the world has accepted it and christians have been influenced by the world. That's what's going on here.

Same with feminism. Feminism is accepted by the world. Christians, influenced by this world and wanting to be seen as relevant by the world, accept feminism within the church. And suddenly female pastors are a thing.

You're digging up "biblical" rationalizations for accepting the same values as the world has. If anti-christians believe X, and you find yourself also believing X and defending X, then it's time to reassess.

And in regards to the OP "struggling" with homosexuality - she's got a good handle on right and wrong. She speaks more truth than most anyone on this thread. She's doing great and she's gonna be fine. She's seeking truth. Jesus is "the way the truth and the life", and she's gonna find it. I'm confident in that.

What's not helpful to her is to say stuff like "it's okay to be gay. It's how god made you.. etc" That's a disservice because it just gives room for confusion.

I'm giving her my clearest possible guidance. I don't care if everyone hates me for it. If it helps her to make a good choice, then it will be completely worth it.

Go back and re-read the posts where I have already addressed you. You are being a divisive false accuser against me, instead of being a doer and preacher of the Word, sewing discord, while there are other posts with ear tickling gurus that need to be dealt with. Also give attendance to reading John 8:1-11 as you completely missed the point. You don't know me well enough to make the accusations that you are making. And it is you that came up being extreme with killing people, completely avoiding the OP where someone is in genuine need of godly help! Shame on you!

You are the one advocating for them. That's what I don't get.

I can only think of one place in the NT where proper use of the death penalty is discussed. That is where the thief on the cross says that his own crucifixion punishment is just. Jesus did not see fit to correct him. Other than that, I can't think of where the NT gets into proper laws and punishments. So according to your "logic" then murders shouldn't be punished - let alone executed.

I am now done with this subject.
Promise?
Nah.

I think when you corrupt scripture as badly as you did there you can be forgiven. When you misrepresent a members actual post in order to screed your own unbiblical doctrine you can be thanked for showing us you're not really one of us.

Catch the wave back to your bridge!

I see what you are saying, but I have never dated before and I know this is happening for a reason, for the lord lets everything happen for a reason. He made me and these trials that are happening, I know they happen for a reason.

I’ve made up my mind that if I do turn out to be gay, then I WILL NEVER marry and stay to celibacy, but saying that pisses me off because it sounds like I’m giving up, cause I haven’t even thought of dating a guy or taking a guy seriously, cause I never wanted to be married. If there is sin that be prevented, then I will try my best to prevent it, that’s what I mean when I’m saying that I will practice celibacy. I’m also sorry in saying this, I legit don’t get how someone can claim to be Christian and gay, because the Bible is very much anti-homosexuality. I was talking about it with my therapist, and no matter how my body reacts, I don’t have to act on it. Just because I get anxious, worried, or turned on, doesn’t mean I have to do anything and can simply ignore it.

Also to be honest, I don’t know how to masurbate (I apparently don’t know how to spell either) and what love is. Honestly I just tell people it’s easier to hate me, rather than love me, because I’m so focused on my opinions and my Christianity.

I do love people and I want to see no one suffering, but this world’s morals and what it stands for, ARE DEAD TO ME. I don’t care for this world. I will share the love I have for God, and will try my best to follow his footsteps.

If anyone hates me for my stance right now, then fine, the lord said the journey to follow him would not be easy and I’m just a loner, easy to hate, hard to love/like.
I learned a long time ago, and I was raised in a family atmosphere where fear of what others think was a constant, not to give any care to what other people think.
How busy would you be adjusting yourself in that circumstance when alive on a planet inhabited by over 7 billion individuals with opinions?
Exactly.

Roman Catholic priests swear a vow of celibacy. Some enter the priesthood at a very young age and while very well educated by the church are also expected to remain committed to the priesthood for life.
We read how badly the celibacy part turns out. Pedophiles enter the church. Perhaps thinking they can either resolve their immoral sin by committing to God. Or perhaps because they know, if raised in the church, that the office of priest can be very intimidating to their future victims. Premeditating predation upon them through under that guise.
Then there are the heterosexual priests. Some remain faithful to their vows to the day they die. Others, like a friend of mine now departed this world, along with his wife, find conflict with the doctrine and depart the faith. In my friends case he also married an ex-nun. No kidding.

Since you are in your mid-20's I would say it is rather optimistic to think you'll never have sex or know sex of any kind, as in self-pleasure, for the term of your life. Typically for females that's about the next half century.

The thing is, if we make God in our own image we've already lost our way. If God is portrayed as what in human flesh would be construed as the worst possible sinner, is that God still?

If we begin by understanding the scripture that tells us God is Omnibenevolent (John 3:16, James 1:17), eternally kind, and that God is love, ( 1 John 4:8 , 1 John 4:16 ) all else as pertains to rightly dividing the truth follows.

The point is, you are lovable. :) Because you were born and created in the image and likeness of a lovable loving omnibenevolent Father God. Give yourself more credit. And don't presuppose God will not put someone in your path that will see that. And want to spend the rest of their life with you. That would be showing ingratitude to God and his gift of love to one whom he loves.

Be open hearted and don't put constraints on God as you do yourself. God knows what he's doing. :D Bless you.

Thanks, yeah I don’t know what the future will hold, only God knows. Plus God created Man and Woman to be together so shouldn’t be worrying about my sexuality, but I’m human and will mess up. I just know when all of this started, I wasn’t even thinking of marrying a man, because marriage leads to children and children can be gross/annoying, lol. But now I want more friends and if a friendship I have with a man goes well and we both want to take it to the “next level”, then that means God meant for that man to be in my life. I’ve seen all of the relationships my sister has had with boyfriends always go wrong, and I always hated being at school, so I never really had any friends and pushed people away, so that’s why my self-confidence is low, but I’m trying to restore my confidence by believing in the lord, for he is good, and wants marriage to be fruitful, so he wouldn’t make me gay. I might struggle with thoughts, but that’s just Satan trying to pull me down to hell.

I just don’t think a marriage of “Since our marriage is against the Bible, but we are Christian, so let’s keep being married” is healthy, it’s very toxic and unhealthy. Plus as someone already stated, how can lesbian couple teach a boy how to be a man, or how can a gay man couple teach a girl how to be a woman? It just doesn’t work. Plus, it’s a marriage settled in the joy of marriage, rather than it being the joy of God, which is what should be material to make a heterosexual marriage work.

I know if my parents didn’t divorce, I wouldn’t have gotten into anime, would never have had my half-sister Kaylee in my life, never would have met my best friend CJ, and I’m not have never ever been on CC. CC has helped me to express my true opinions, I know everyone on here might not agree with me, but I feel like being able to say what I want to say and trying to help people by relating my experiences to their problems, has helped me to grow as a Christian ^_^

I agree with your perspective as pertains to gays raising children together. I also accept that God intended one man and one woman to couple, mate, marry, however one wishes to phrase it. Survival of the species is the bedrock for continuing existence of any species on this earth including human. Homo-sexuality is abnormal by definition. I wouldn't say it is unnatural given there are animals that have been known to be gay. But they're animals. And so too are we if we consider that classification in biological scientific terms.
Though I don't think contending that animals are gay and that is a good political platform for the LGBTQ community. Animals also eat their young and their own dung. Therefore, gay's should set a higher bar for their humanity. Just my opinion.
Wait! What's that dolphin doing over there to that....OHHHHH YUK!

I think we too often commit to judging in the name of God when it is so much easier to live life following the lead of God. God will judge. Meanwhile, I think we should lead people to Christ by example.

I think you'll do just fine in your life. But remember too, as pertains to your observations about what God judges as wrong. God also decreed that divorce was against his will. And that should one divorce, the woman should remain unmarried for the rest of her life because in God's eyes she is still considered to be married. So too is the man, if God is equitable in his decrees regarding divorce itself.

Do NOT kid yourself, YES perverts can be good people, even friends or relatives. BUT, they are NOT Christians and can never be unless they repent and sin no more, and accept JESUS as Lord and Saviour. CHARLIE.

I agree with your point that so-called "Gay Christians" are not Christians, but instead are deceived and deceiving. I will add that while some are kind and polite, that does not mean that they are "good people", as is the case with anyone that is lost in their sins. The scripture says that there is none that are righteous, no not one. It is only by Jesus' righteousness with faith in what He did on the cross at calvary can anyone be saved.

That said, for those of us that are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, we all still have the old man, the sin nature, and there is instruction in righteousness written in the Bible to guide us with the help of The Holy Spirit to walk in newness of life. And when we do sin, we can go boldly before the throne of grace to confess our sins to God, and He will always forgive us. While there is much more that can be elaborated upon here, I wanted to also mention that I posted several videos of born again Christians that have been delivered from their sins.

I also want to say that in the midst of writing posts to communicate with other people of the truth that Jesus Christ can save anyone, I also noticed other posts by someone that are very deceptive with the luring of the lust of the flesh to justify the sin as being "normal" and even falsely claiming that "God made them that way", and proceeded to be vulgar with speaking of things that are inappropriate. I want to wait a few days to allow for some folks, including @SarahUmbreon to view the video testamonies before coming back to address those other posts. It would also be good for us to have a godly study and discussion of Romans 1-2, along with other passages that directly relate to this subject, so we can all be on the same page with instruction from The Holy Bible, not only to be in a better position to reach the lost with the Gospel, including homosexuals, but to also combat the deceivers that are calling "good evil, and evil good".

Oh yeah, I definitely don't agree that divorce is good, it put a huge indent in my life and still probably effects me to this day, I was just trying to find the positives that have come from my parent's divorcing and getting remarried. Even my Dad still struggles with my mentality of: "God lets everything happen for a reason", but I do agree with how my Dad believes "God takes the bad stuff that happens, to change it to where it glorifies him"

I do believe that God lets everything that happens, to glorify him. Also, on the subject of hating, I find this song really puts today's concept of hating perfectly:

For it is true: "When did we let hate get so ordinary?", but that is the world, for it is broken.

Trans people are mentally ill and have gender dysphoria because that's what happens when little boys are socialized as girls and little girls are socialized as boys. They grow up confused and ideologies like feminism demonize masculinity and parents feel the need to take pseudo moralistic stances on gender diversity in order to increase their social status and inflate their sense of self worth. As for gay people, I think it is fine in the eyes of God but they can't face the fact that they are useless in terms of reproduction and the nuclear family and therefore have less value to society. Instead of just accepting that, they have to shame people for not accepting them and play identity politics and talk about how much courage they have for coming out when in reality nobody gives a crap and who you have sex with has nothing to do with how good of a person you are. They just have less value to the world because they can't raise children normally. The truth hurts.

actually in samoa some families deliberately raise boys as girls (called fa'afine) .
I think its because maybe they dont have enough girls to help in the family. and they and the parents are not considered mentally ill in samoas society.

then there are other families that are all girls and there might be one whos considered a tomboy because there are no male heirs as such. This girl may not marry or it may be on HER shoulders to carry on the family business or work the land or whatever.

Not every family has the required 'seven sons' that the Bible has said makes a family valuable.
another thing to consider is in OT times 4 daughters appealed to Moses because they wanted an inheritance, if they had married they would have lost the land alloted to their family.

Jesus was not considered a less valuable person because he did not marry or have children. (althougn some people at the time undoubtedly may have thought this)
and it is possible that Judas actually had homosexual desires for him, which cant have been easy.

Another thing to consider is that Jesus addressed what were then euncuhs at the time, those who were made eunuchs and those who delibestely became eunuchs. ie. people who didnt marry, may have been sterile or for whatever reason instead of having a family, chose to serve in the kingdom.

He said many people wouldnt understand. But note one thing he didnt say as that euncuhs would be attracted to one another.
also its a fallacy that pracicting homosexuals cant have children as many do, which is why a lot of them marry first and then come out later to the complete shock of their wives (or husbands) and offspring.

Romans 1 is the best place to start. It happens when people set up idols in their hearts, not willing to retain the knowledge of God, then they are given over to reprobate minds to work those things which are unseemly, and that is the practice of homosexuality, which is an abomination to The Lord. As you read through the Old Testament, you can learn a great deal about how images of idols, high places, and so forth are not only antichrist, but how they were set up to curse the children of Israel; including, just as it is written in Romans 1, how many, including the Tribe of Benjamin, chose not to retain the knowledge of God in their hearts, but instead turned to idolatry. It's as simple as that, and just as Jesus said, when He will return, it would be as of the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. Today, we are living in Sodom and Gomorrah, as world-wide, people have embraced false religions; false prophets, and so forth, not to mention the redefining of marriage is so many countries.

If you examine some of the video testimonies that I posted on this thread; the Brothers and Sisters that were saved and delivered from the bondage of sin tell you very plainly the things that they were involved in before they were saved. And with discernment, you can see how it is all Biblical just as God wrote about in The Holy Bible. Also, somewhere in one of my previous posts, I cited from Judges. The passages pertaining to the Tribe of Benjamin being given over to reprobate mind to do those things are found in the last few chapters of Judges.
