I've learned finding Christians in India is like looking for a needle in a haystack (you can find it, though the search is long and arduous), but I was wondering can any Indians currently living in India tell me if there are any churches one can attend when visiting the country?

I know the majority of Christians live in the south and even so are mainly Catholic. Some places I've looked are essentially still Hindu with Jesus pencilled in. They practice tonsuring/mundan, worship a physical idol/graven image of Jesus, and have ritualistic tendencies, etc. I was wondering, are there any protestant churches to go to? The only protestant church I've heard of was the Kant family's in Mumbai and they're, surprisingly, Punjabi: http://www.anilkant.org/.

Are there any other churches that you have attended and can vouch for? I don't speak Tamil or Malayalam yet, so any Hindi/English speaking places would be preferable.

Velankini is catholic. and its mainly about Mary. and its malayalam. I am from South India and i haven't found a church here yet where they preach the Truth

Thanks for the feedback! That's exactly why I'm reaching out to find something valid. In all my research I couldn't find anything that was remotely truthful outside of the church in my initial post. But I still was hoping someone who already goes there could tell me about that church or another church before I attend.

See if you can connect with @levi85 I'm not sure what part of India he's from but he seems to know of churches and ministries out there.
Hopefully something better than AoG at least.
