The ECF was to busy battling Christological errors. Plus, Pelagianism did not exist yet, so it wasn’t there to fight. You’re arguing by employing anachronisms.

You can Scofield and Darby while you are at it.
I have not read much of either. And they’re not even close to being before Augustine, which is who through faith mentioned.

You’re not following the flow of the discussion. He talked about views of the early church before Augustine.

Which isn’t even relevant, because there were all kinds of things in the ECF that you wouldn’t accept, probably.

I did not say I choose Calvinism. I said I would choose augustine over Pelagius. I am not on board fully with either one, but Pelagius is the more dangerous view.
I meant usually thats how folks become a Calvinist, because of the boogeyman palagius. every one who is not a Calvinist is a palagian to a calvinist . Of course both are false. Prior to this debate we didn't have regeneration preceding faith or a gnostic election before people existed. Ariminians have carried this on in also with Jacob Arm being a student of Beza . He still did not fully leave the calvinist hive . Nor have people today. They walk right into it as I did , unwittingly.

Most Christians have no idea who Pelagius, and most do not even adequately understand what Calvinism teaches. Not that I am either.

Acts 11
15And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
16THEN !!!! REMEBERED !!!! I !!! the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
17Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
18¶When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
Yep thank you. You proved the gentiles were even before paul

Love it when others prove my point for me

That’s ludicrous. I don’t know any theological system that holds that. You need to actually hear what a person says before you critique. That’s a common problem with some here. They respond without trying to understand the other

Dual Covenant theology is also a false doctrine and teaching of man.

There is (One) covenant between God and man, the shed blood upon the cross of Calvary.

The future remnant Jew will be brought into this covenant as all believers, there is no difference between a Jew or Gentile, God is no respector of person.

Once again, dispensationalisms (Dual Covenant Theology) is a false doctrine and teaching.

Dispensationalism falsely teaches the two covenants below.

Covenant: Israel/Jew

Covenant: Church/Saved
For salvation yes only one covenant
for isreal? No they were given a covenant apart from salvation which gentiles are not a part of and it is still valid. Even though no one will ever be saved eternally because if it
the church did not replace Israel in that covenant

Enough . This is an area I'm very familiar with . I believe every Christian would fair well to at least look into the history of Augustine / Calvin / beza / Arminius/ pink / edwards / wesley / Whitfield ect also . They would see what I'm seeing when people use the scriptures the way they do .
Or better yet. Study the word and stop following men

I am absolutely not following the flow of the discussion that is absolutely true.

I am not fan of the early church fathers, you are absolutely correct there too... sad how quickly the gift of salvation freely given to those who believe in Jesus for it was destroyed by religion.
