It was exciting. Six foot waves on a small boat can be very intimidating.

We only dream of the other seasons like fall or spring. We just have hot and muggy to cold and rainy. Mosquitoes and gnats are always in season it seems.
we are actually having really nice weather right now. very tolerable but summer here was mostly indoors for me

humid like it was a season. even the mold was like 'enough already'. our winters are pretty decent here. mosquitoes die off and no one misses them

I though Georgia had a little better weather.....we do get a break during winter

6' waves..look up

May just be me but I heard a lot about Trump and Biden's goals and intentions. I heard some very unsettling comments come from Biden about belief and policy.
It would have been to Trump's advantage to allow Biden to talk instead of constantly interrupting him but rather wait for a strategic point to attack. In my opinion, Trump was not properly prepared. It was also a tactical error on his part by lowering the bar for Biden that allowed Biden to simply walk over it rather than jump. Biden did much better than Trump had anticipated, and even when Biden lost his train of thought for a moment it was hardly noticed because Trump was always chiming in. Clearly, Trump's debate strategy was ineffective and poorly executed. He did not bring his A game that's for sure. I was very disappointed by the overall result.

What happens if Biden croaks BEFORE election day? Does Harris step up then?
I'm serious....... b/c I don't understand how it all (is supposes to) works.
Regardless of who it is, or what party it is, how does that work?
For starters, it is too late to change the ballots so if he dies anyone casting a vote for him is voting for a dead man. There is precedence for this but not for the party's nominee for president. Casting a vote for a dead person is legal and if he actually won, the line of succession would take effect and Harris would be sworn in as president. There would be no vice president to swear in. After she becomes president she can select anyone she choses and the Senate, regardless of what party controls it, would vote to confirm.

I have been all through Georgia and it is a very scenic state. Yes, mild winters but hot and humid summers just like Florida. We are planning to move to Tennessee in a month or so. I lived there for 3 years in the early 80's. Same thing, mild winters and hot and humid summers. At least the leaves change colors. Might even see a little snow but probably not too much and that is a good thing.

yeah we are big on waterspouts here...3 must have been exciting

thankfully we are less successful with tornadoes but we do have a chance of one depending which side you are on when the hurricane pays you a visit

sadly I am still a 4 seasons person. miss snow and leaves changing
I'm a 4 season person too but live in Florida. Two seasons, hot or hotter. Leaves are either green or they are dead. No in between.

AG Paxton Announces Joint Prosecution of Gregg County Organized Election Fraud in Mail-In Balloting Scheme

https://www.texasattorneygeneral.go...rganized-election-fraud-mail-balloting-scheme
“It is an unfortunate reality that elections can be stolen outright by mail ballot fraud. Election fraud, particularly an organized mail ballot fraud scheme orchestrated by political operatives, is an affront to democracy and results in voter disenfranchisement and corruption at the highest level,” said Attorney General Paxton. “Mail ballots are vulnerable to diversion, coercion, and influence by organized vote harvesting schemes. This case demonstrates my commitment to ensuring Texas has the most secure elections in the country, and I thank the Gregg County Sheriff and District Attorney for their continued partnership. Those who try to manipulate the outcome of elections in Texas must be held accountable.”

Oh, I agree it went bad as a formal debate. I'm simply saying if you looked past the antics, there was a good bit said. For example, Biden affirmed Roe v wade, skipped the questions on packing the court and ending the filibuster, thinks of Antifa as an idea, not an organization, sees America and the police as systemic racist, has no problem with critical race theory, blames white supremacists for the riots, Biden wouldn't deny shutting down the country again. Biden said his son never took money from Ukraine ( lie). Also called mail-in ballot fraud a lie ( lie). Called Trump a racist ( lie). Trump did nothing about covid (lie). Biden agrees with the Green new deal but then says it would be his plan, not AOC and Kamala Harris's.

Biden and the moderator spoke on a nice transition but neither would comment on how the liberals have not transitioned since day one and the failed coup. Biden spoke about Trump's taxes which were illegally released and but didn't want to talk about how his (Biden's) wife also had a shady deal with Russia. The moderator kept bailing Biden out and wouldn't ask Biden good follow up questions to these comments. ANTIFA as an idea?! Really? No, follow up.

Idk if Trump got angry or was trying to get this kind of response out to the hypocrisy, expose Biden's lies, and force the debate to go in the direction of Trump's comments. In which Biden would of probably never faced those types of questions from the moderator.

Yah summer was brutal but probably more so because my job gets rough in the summer months.

I swear some days will be an all 4 seasonal transition in one day. It's crazy.

Yah I have never been a snow person but living in south Georgia we never see snow so I'm not too accustomed to it.

Near landslide in votes on that score. A foretelling of the election come November 3rd. ;)

I wonder if Trump telling about the ballots with his name on them and mailed early being found in the trash and elsewhere, meaning of course the easiest means of voter fraud, mail in balloting, is already showing the evidence of voting collusion against Trump.

A mail in ballot should have to be a solicited ballot. That still would not stop fraudulent activity, like throwing ballots with Trump's name on them in the trash.

It's going to be a very interesting November.

we have some interesting trees where we are. they are deciduous but they don't turn all the pretty colors before they fall

I don't know where you are in FL, but we are having nice weather now...lows in the 50's and 60' during the night and highs just in the low 80's. compared to the high 90's with mucho humidity, what a relief

don't you get freezes where you are? we get several year...central FL

Trump spoke about those ballots and Biden called it a lie.

I agree these next few months will be some tribulations for sure.
