Please explain Galatians 4:9. Thanks.
The verb “known” here is not speaking of taking in knowledge. It is referring to being recognized and accepted by God.

This contradicts nothing I’ve said.

We are foreknown, elected, and predestined before the foundation of the world.

We are justified, reconciled, and made accepted in the Beloved in time.

I hope no one reading these posts believes that God has chosen people to be in Christ before the foundation of the world, and not chosen others to be in Christ before the foundation of the world. What a sad thought? Why preach the gospel? God's already chosen His people. Sad, sad thought...I'm glad Paul didn't think this.
We preach the gospel because it is gods will. It’s gods will that anyone who sees and believes will not perish but have eternal life.

just because god foresaw it does not mean we should just walk away, and it will take care of itself. god saw That judah would be destroyed by Babylon, yet Babylon still had to willingly go do that they wanted to do to begin with,

it’s sad you remove a point of the gospel that gives people assurance, and empowered their hope. Because your afraid some part of calvinim might be proven.

Gal 4 is simply saying that a person who has achieved the state of being born again by belief is now KNOWN personally (a relational term) by God

it does not take away the fact that God knew of the, before time began.

Actually, in this false thinking I've been refuting, It's God's will that only those that He has chosen before the foundation of the world will hear it and believe it. Actually, they will because He chose them to believe, which is not really believing if one was chosen to believe. That's another argument.

You’re the one who added “to be saved” not me.
So you believe you were predestined BEFORE you existed to be converted . What you would call being chosen ahead of time to be adopted. ( Which you think means conversion ) Is this the position you hold to ? Currently you sound like my friend who will swear she is not a calvinist ,but holds to just about every calvinist interpretation of most key texts .

If God chose them before the foundation of the world, then God knows them personally before the foundation of the world. Are you saying God did not have this knowledge before the foundation of the world? Uh Oh!

you can twist my words all you want, I will just point you to God for your sin.

John 6 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
