Physically, Jesus lives within our bodies. We are the temple of His Body that was raised. Why else would the Bible refer to the believers as the body?

If God has himself a physical body, then why did he require an incarnation in Jesus Christ?
I'm just kidding, on God being 6'2"

God is a spirit, The Heaven Is God's Throne, The Earth Is His Footstool, Jesus Is At His Right Hand

God's Way Of Saying, I'm Bigger Than (You)

John 4:24KJV
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Isaiah 66:1KJV
Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

It is necessary to understand as if he is not physically anywhere, he does not exist and thus there is no point in praying to him.
Then joining a Christian site is an odd way of wasting your energy, don't you think?

I can´t believe I didn´t think of that! Of course, that´s the answer.
But I think, what she rather wanted to know the location. Because with that answer (which of course is true), you could continue and say: where is God then?
One of the answers to that question would be: the Holy Spirit lives inside of us, we are a temple for God.
God the Father, the reference in the verse, is seated on His throne in third heaven.

Jesus is the first fruits of the promised resurrected body. In his Ascension the angles declare he shall return in like matter.
Jesus is the God man if you will.
We shall have a body such as his.
The resurrection was physical not spiritual....very important to understand.
Heaven is a real place...not spiritual.
Yes, a body of bone and flesh, no blood. Blood is what is corrupt. Blood is what makes us mortal.

Right, I imagined that. So the difference, in my opinion is, that we, even if we do not know where God physically is, we believe that there is a spiritual realm as well. We know that this means it can´t be scientifically proven that God exists. (in case this is what you wanted to show us)
I personally believe in God even though I don´t exactly know where he is.
If he is spirit then he does not have feet.
Now that for sure is a metaphor, I´m sure you see that this refers to his power and his, not necessarily literally, being great.

Jesus is fully human and fully divine. Where is his physical body?
Sitting at the right hand of the Father with ALL authority in heaven and on earth granted to Him, reigning until ALL enemies are made a footstool for His feet. Our King is on His throne with ALL victory, holla-boo-ya!!

Heaven is where rain comes from, have you ever experienced rain from the heavens above?

Genesis 8:1-2KJV
1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;
2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;

Let's start with the simple details:

1. Our essence is a "soul" and that is a dimension that is not measurable by the physical world
2. The body is only a tool in this world (this physical lower world, there are "other higher worlds or kingdoms")
3. The reason the body and soul are mixed in this world is for us to refined by the challenges the "flesh" brings and for us to have a higher level of service due too having a challenge (i.e. resistance makes someone much better and able to grow....count it all blessings for trials and tribulations")
4. You have to know when the Bible is using "metaphors". Yes clearly the Almighty G-d does not have hands and eyes, but because we cannot understand G-d at all, not even a tiny little percent of His Whole Essence, He is like a good Father who "simplifies" things for us to understand in bit size form.
5. The "right side of G-d" signifies Mercy and the left side is judgment.

With this all put together, Jesus, Messiah is a very very high-level soul, spirit, angel (etc) and I do not know exactly where He is, but in the higher worlds, He is constantly preparing the way for our arrival and fighting tooth and nail every sin that comes our way. He is also on the right side of G-d to ask for mercy on us sinners. That is what is meant by being on the "right side".

I did not ask where God is. My understanding of God is that he is ephemeral. I asked where Jesus physically is.

And if he is spirit how can he speak?
Are you really asking how the Creator of everything can speak without a body? Dude we must not be thinking of the same God, because that's as silly as the Muslim that ask "How can God have a Son when He has no girlfriend?". Just what kind of limited and inferior God do you believe in?

Sadly I don't think she's ready, but you showed your kind and patient heart.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

I suppose you are trying to prove to us that God does not exist. However, in my opinion, to say, just because I do not know where something is or what something looks like, that that something does not exist, is not a very good argument.

Possiblities are endless, with God all thing ARE possible!

1.At the ascension, Jesus had transcended the body of flesh and bone as He did when He went up on the mountain to pray:
Luke 9:29 And while He was praying, the appearance of His face became different, and His clothing became white and gleaming
2.OR as He was on the road to Emmaus, when He was walking with them and then had disappeared.
3.OR Later Jesus in the flesh appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he ate with them.

It would seem, that the physical earthsuits that we wear now will be transformed into more heavenly environmental garments, as needed, with abilities we don't have now. Personally I would rather shed the physical suit I have now as it is several decades out of date.
