Where is Jesus physically now?

In John 14:31 he makes a dinstinction between himself and the Father. In John 14:28 he says the Father 'is greater than I'.
I am confused, could somebody reconcile these ideas for me. Thank you.
2 Corinthians 5:7, NIV: "For we live by faith, not by sight."

It is not always either/or, as I have said, but sometimes both. In the same chapter Jesus also says, "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?" If you can move away from being so stuck on the literal words to see the meaning behind them, reconciling what on face value may look contradictory is not difficult when you have the Holy Spirit of God guiding you in understanding. Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. John chapter one affirms this. God is Spirit, and Jesus is God manifested/incarnated in the flesh to walk among us. Seeing a distinction there does not mean there is any contradiction.
Are you really confused? Pray for understanding.

Jesus was in Heaven before he came to Earth and then after he left Earth he ascended back up to Heaven. We know he got a new body on Earth so it stands to reason he had a different kind of body in Heaven. Scripture doesn't seem to say he needed to take his human body to Heaven.
50Now I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
53For the perishable must be clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.
1 Corinthians 15:50,53
So one could hypothesize that Jesus' body changes from perishable to imperishable as needed when going from Heaven to Earth or back. This might be the glowing kind of body he had during the transfiguration. (Matthew 17)
11“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.”
Acts 1:11
The way people saw Jesus ascend to Heaven was in a human form. We know from other scriptures that flesh and bone bodies aren't in heaven. So Jesus must be in heaven with an imperishable, immortal, body at the right hand of God.
The right hand of God may be a literal reference to God's right hand. It could mean that Jesus is sitting at a place of supreme power... Or both

Please explain further. If he is God, why does he say God is greater than himself?
Jesus refers to the human body, so this is not possible. When Jesus say I, is he referring to himself the human, or to God?
Then Jesus is not in Heaven, as Jesus (the name by which we identify God's chosen body on Earth) perished during God's ascension to Heaven.
I am in Gymnasium (I am german) which is similar to highschool. School was open, and still is, but my entire year is in quarantine right now, so its online courses for us

My point is very self-explanatory.
Christians believe.
We don't need physical proof, because we have faith.
That is what believing is.
That is the very essence of having a spiritual practice of any kind, no matter what your religion may be.
I know, being 16 I´m probably one of the youngest members of this forum...
I definetely want to serve God with my life, and I think I will always be on my way to serving him even more. With God, future is so much brighter. I rely on his perfect plan!
Well that isn't what it says. No where does it say that Jesus perished. What I'm trying to suggest is that Jesus changed.
51Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—
1 Corinthians 15:51
So the very next verse says that we will be changed. The inference I understand is that we don't perish, per se, but our perishable bodies get "clothed with the imperishable." That's the way the writer is describing it.
Whatever being clothed with the imperishable actually is, it isn't directly implying that we die or he could have simply said that.
Always remember the writers in the Bible mean exactly what they say and never mince their words.
Please clarify. Your questions seem to lack context. Jesus was purposed from before the foundation of the world. You seem to keep trying to separate Jesus from God, whereas it was through Jesus that all things were created, for His glory... for "all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me." <- Jesus' words in Matthew 28:18
For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through the blood of His cross. Colossians 1:19-20
God is Spirit', and in order for us mere humans to be able to identify with Him,
He gave us the structure of 'family' = God The Father-Jesus The Son-New Jeruselem
is the mother of us all-and the body of Jesus Christ is 'the wife'=Church'...
there is just NO OTHER WAY for us to comprehend His Holiness, except He become
like 'us', - is this not mind-blowing, to say the least???
