Jesus is by definition fully divine and fully HUMAN. He did not 'become' human.
I think people are not understanding your point.

Agree we use language incorrectly quite often.
Jesus did not become a human is true.

We can state however, according to scripture Emmanuel ... "God with us"

Thank you. I was very confused at the suggestion that Jesus 'became' human. Jesus was always human, Jesus being fully human.

I don't understand the Immanuel references and why this is relevant.

Expressive language ... often a problem on here for miscommunication. :)

Just to clarify to those who were not grasping your point that Jesus is God with us ...that God took on flesh.

Genesis 3 (ESV)

22 Then the Lord God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of US in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—" 23 therefore the Lord God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken.

Ezekiel 37 (ESV)

19 say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am about to take the stick of Joseph (that is in the hand of Ephraim) and the tribes of Israel associated with him. And I will join with it the stick of Judah, and make them ONE stick, that they may be ONE in my hand.

John 11 (ESV)

51 He did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, 52 and not for the nation only, but also to gather into ONE the children of God who are scattered abroad.

John 6 (ESV)

27 Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal." 33 For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."
