Well, here we go again. The beautiful pearls of God's words being tossed to........trolls.
This is what happens when "believers" believe bad doctrine and just KNOW that God loves EVERYBODY and the everybodys of the world just need to have the gospel presented to them so they can be saved too! :rolleyes:

Trolls like to play the game called "Stump the Christian". Endless argument, endless challenges and endless posts that dishonor Christ ending with the Troll crying foul and playing the martyr after being called out. :cry:

If you MUST play then share the SIMPLE gospel and move on. There are a lot of really good topics in the forum worthy of discussion.

Yes.

Jesus is 'fully human and fully divine', however.

Let's ascribe Jesus' humanity the value of 5. And we shall ascribe the value of his divinity as 7.

Humanity = 5
Divinity = 7

5+7=12

Jesus=12

Does this make it easier to understand?
i see

do you understand the idea being spiritual death vs physical death.

God told adam in the day he ate, he would die, Adam did die that day spiritually, some centuries later he died physically, does this make sense?

LOL. You say Jesus cannot exist in non human. Your deceitfulness is on full display for all to see.
Yes. By definition Jesus is human. If Jesus stops being human, then it is perhaps simply God you are referring to. Jesus is God in human form.

By definition, Jesus is both human and divine. As an eternally Divine Being, Jesus predates His creation, which includes Adam, which you deny. Your position is logically untenable. I shall leave you to your nonsense.

Jesus refers to the human. Jesus is simply the name by which the body God inhabited was identified.
Of course.. Jesus was the name given in our temporal world when He entered this world.
In scripture He is referred to as the Logos.

Is Jesus an eternally human being as well as being an eternally divine being?

No. The Logos was called Jesus when the human was born. Jesus itself refers to the human. Jesus did not exist before that particular human was born, yet the Logos did exist, and always has.

Good

now, Jesus said on the cross “it is finished” the words he spoke in the Greek is tetelesti (not sure of spelling) which is a Roman legal term which means paid in full, so, Our sin debt was paid in full BeFOR Jesus died physically, after he completed the job he was sent, he gave up the ghost (man did not kill him, by physical laws, his body should have been dead long before this time, he died when he determined he would die and not a moment sooner)

so it was his spiritual death that paid the spiritual death we all deserve, not the physical.

does this Make sense?

No. My understanding was that spirit cannot die.

It is now evident I do not.
Ok that’s ok

spiritual death is A spiritual separation, in this context, it is separation from God, we are told in Adam all die, it is spiritual death that is spoken of her, it is in Christ one can be made alive, this is spiritual life,

adam was alianated from god the moment he sinned, god had to restore him, that is what Jesus came to do.

he had to die spiritually , that’s how he as God could die in our place. Only his divine nature could die for all of us, his human nature could never take the penalty for all mankind.
as as I tried to show, he said it the finished before he died physically. That’s how
