Cincinnati Skyline Chili! (Not easy to make but sooooo worth the time.) <That's not my opinion, that is an editorial comment from my taste buds.

Recipe Cincinnati Skyline Chili

If you love chili you'll love this. The sauce is a Mediterranean recipe. I use angel hair pasta in mine.
This ruined me for other chili recipes. Nothing compares to this once you've had it.
There's a chain of restaurants around the country called, Skyline Chili.

I love cincy style chilli. Cincinnati is my hometown. Though in my opinion the best cincy chilli parlor is Dixie Chili in Northern Kentucky. Though skyline is the most well known and makes a heck of a chili too. Most folks can’t tell the difference.

Hi - much respect to your opinion, but honestly, I never figured out what the fuss was about Skyline. I went through there drive-thru ONE time and was charged a LOT for 3 little mini hot dogs with the chili on it. To me, it just wasn't worth it. But hey, my daughter loves it and will buy it in the can at Krogers.
God Bless you!

A chef friend of mine entered a chili cook off. When we aren't competing we are friends...lol.
Presentation is always key important at these things and people often don't get that. They focus so hard on the recipe and making the food taste perfect that they do the absolute worst job of presentation. And it's a shame....(I've digressed terribly)

But my chef friend decided to do something different. So he got a new toilet that he was planning on installing in his house to replace one that was old and bad....set it up on some bricks with a couple of cans of sterno under it and served his chili out of that for the cook off.
It got noticed for sure. He got some kind of prize for it too...the judges were laughing about it all.

I love Cincinnati too! I am still sad though that Gary Burbank retired from the radio. It hasn't been the same.
