You're talking to yourself there dear. Talking to and about yourself.
I'll pray for you. We can read your post history remember.

thankfully, your so called prayers are most likely not God's will for my life

waay to angry there soggy

all of your exaggerations because you think baptism saves

not the way to make your point. however, this is a very old argument on CC and other people who believe baptism is a part of salvation rather than an ordinance because one is saved, have made much more precise and persuasive arguments without using language as you have and without empty offers of prayer

What's sad here is that you warp what I said with your own odd imagination. And then presume to tell me you'll pray for my misunderstanding.

I'll pray for myself thanks. And I'm female not male. What male would call themselves soggy kitten?
If you think Baptism is works salvation we should all pray for you.
see soggy? you will pray for yourself and then you go and say that same thing to me

what shall we call that? nothing funny going on but I understand that at times people will use the laughing emoji to show they need an attitude adjustment

you know, there is no works salvation. that is Homeroom gospel, never mind next class

you sure can confuse a subject IMO

You're really desperate I can see that. You have my deepest sympathy for your very clear confused state of mind and dark agenda here.
May God help you and protect us. Amen.
Won't be walking the path to read you further. It isn't healthy for my spirit.

I think quantum foam is the answer: if things can happen, they MUST happen.
Actually, if you read their question, how did this thread turn into...baptism, you may realize they're not actually concerned with the OP or the topic itself or they'd never have asked that question.
The OP pasted below: See the bolded word? ;)

Last night, in YouTube, I listened to gotquetions.org, on the subject of lordship salvation. The speaker said that only lordship salvation saves. Anything less than that, is "easy believism" - and isn't able to save anyone. I also listened to John MacArthur in Youtube - preaching on the subject. He said Jesus and the apostles preached the need for repentance and the need to accept Jesus as Lord, in order for anyone to get saved. He mentioned a lot of Bible verses giving proof of this. He said many think they're saved, by praying the "sinner's prayer of repentance" - but make no effort to change their lives for the better. He said the word "repentance" means, "changing one's way of thinking - plans to do things differently." Both of these speakers said that belief isn't enough to save anyone. Only if coupled with repentance, does it save anyone. And many verses mentioned - showed repentace as preceding baptism and salvation - that's how the verses were worded! The verses mentioned repentance, before mentioningn all the other.
I've observed, that many evidently - true Christians believe that repentance isn't a necessary part to receiving salvation. I believe some of these Christians are true Christians. Since they appear to be walking in obedience to Christ in their daily lives. But their theology - their way of explaining it to others is incorrect. And so has the potential for misleading other people into "easy believism." With the result of their dying without Christ, often.
I talked to the husband of the home we clean house at yesterday about this, and he said that he has also noticed that many true Christians don't understand the subject the same as we do - who do see the need for repentance. He agreed it is hard for them to change their views on the subject, as they've learned incorrectly on it from habit and through people who taught that way. He said we must be loving towards them, though we can't agree on this subject - which is true, according to the Bible. But we dhould pray that they come to understand correctly on the subject.

the real question is why you think baptism is equal to the death of Jesus on the cross

one, is what we do to show we follow Jesus, the other is Jesus taking our place because God says that all our righteousness is as a filthy rag...now go and look up just what a filthy rage represents here

baptism does not save. I am baptized but BECAUSE I was saved

baptism does not save
That's just sad.

well I had to look up quantum foam

I am not satisfied I understand even so

but I actually do not come here to argue. however, one can find almost every deviation from the gospel that mankind can come up with around these days

where did 'believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved' go?

Paul states the answer here I guess. 'But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. II Corinthians 11:3

the simple gospel. good news.

no strings attached, no precursors, no hoops of fire to leap through, no rules or laws, no other requirements whatsoever

but there seems to be an awful lot of people with their foot out trying to trip others into obeying parts of the law, confessing what they do not even know or understand yet, threatening they are not saved if they do not get saved the way they did, and getting angry angry angry over the whole thing

be careful, everyone, that your mind is not led astray from the SIMPLICITY and PURITY of devotion to

..............................................................................................CHRIST

not all the stuff you might get thrown at you. God will keep you and bring the truth into your life if you have accepted Jesus.

there is only way to be saved. call on the Lord Jesus Christ. He is not confused. He knows your heart and mind. don't add to salvation ... there is only one requirement. BELIEVE. called faith. God will seal you with His Holy Spirit and you can depend on Him

I call it hypocrisy, and holding to a double standard.

When someone like that says they'll pray for you, it just looks like another in a long line of attempts to insult.

I don't know, but I keep repeating around here that I was but 5 when I believed.

I am still believing and if some of you knew all that I have lived through, you might wonder at that, but I don't keep myself. God keeps me. Because I really do believe. In Him.

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

all of these things may and some will, try. try to separate you from the love of God in Jesus.

don't bring a sword to prayer. Jesus said to put that sword away.

you cannot divide up His body and fight over it. that, is what the devil really wants.

commandments? most of you are not even dressed for battle and some of you think it is just a silly story

I have a feeling that people don't actually have full confidence in the promise that Jesus will complete what He started.
If we have this promise, the only issue is to determine, was His work started? There are some moments in the Bible that call for self inspection "make your salvation sure", for this very reason - acquire the full assurance that you're actually saved, don't joke around with matters of life and death. But one can get to that point with God that they are rooted in Him, and do have assurance that they are saved. And that person's desires will not be to go back to the vomit and they are not to walk in fear no more but to be made perfect in love. People think that what is born of God is corruptible and dies later.

there is so much to discuss and even debate I guess, in scripture

I certainly take issue with certain things

but Jesus is not up for discussion. ever.

God is always saying 'this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased'

nothing has changed

Don't paint your tactics upon me.
it’s you my friend since you have Done it since I first met you

When John 3 can't reach you you are not meant to be reached. And it is a capital N when spelling the name of Nicodemus. Just as it is a capital G when writing the title of our creator, God. Not as you do, god.
Oh it reaches me fine. Sadly Jesus talk with Nicodemus has you confused. You adding a word he never used.

Remember. Chapter verse breaks were added by men not the authors. So you have to take each conversation in context. Yes baptism was mentioned earlier. But not to Nicodemus and not in context of being born again.

Anyway. Thanks for Proving I was right about you

and how were you saved? good works? water dunking?

the word faith seems to be missing from your vocabulary

you are getting way out of line. watch your language

you know, one of the ways that a person illustrates they are saved is by CONTROLLING their tongue

26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. James 1

the rest of your post is simply an angry rant. temper...not good
His faith is in his work and the man who baptized him. Not God

It's the Christian version of the rude finger. If you want to pray for someone, why tell them like that? Just go and do it, see if your prayer is in line with God's thoughts and be open and prepared for rebuke from Holy Spirit.

That's a good way to put it :) Perhaps they think we do not see through their phony act of virtuosity.
